Daniel's P. O. V.
"I mean, we can't just ignore it," she said softly.
"Of course not," I chuckled nervously. I looked at her to try and see what she was thinking, but all I saw was her perfect smile.
I leaned in and so did she. Our lips touched and I felt an actual spark between us. My hands snakes their way around her waist, pulling her into me. She ran her hands up my shoulders to my cheeks, then to the back of my neck. I felt something stronger than butterflies in my stomach while I was kissing her. It was an amazing feeling. She pulled away and looked up into my eyes, our faces only centimeters apart.
"I've been waiting for that for so long," she whispered. I smiled and kissed her again. I picked her up and set her on the counter, standing between her legs. She wrapped her legs around me and held my face to hers.
"Jess," I said pulling away slowly.
"Mhmm," she asked with a soft smile.
"I've like you for a while," I started smiling when her lips turned into a smile.
"Mhmm."
"And I-I'm guessing you've liked me for a while." She nodded her head. I bit my lip.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" She smirked and then kissed me again.
"Does that answer your question?"
"It sure does." I bit my lip, smiling again, before kissing her lips one more time.
"Let's go to bed." I picked her up bridal style and carried her to the room we were sharing.
Wren's P. O. V.
"Wake up! Wake up! It's Christmas!" Isla shook both Jack and I until we woke up. I yawned and rubbed my eyes before sitting up to face Isla and Blue jumping on the bed.
"What time is it?" Jack asked.
"Naomi and Autumn said we'd meet downstairs at 8. It's 7:50, so hurry and get ready!" Isla exclaimed getting off the bed.
Jack groaned and fell back on the pillows. I patted his cheek before getting out of bed and went to the bathroom. I just stayed in my Christmas pajamas, but I brushed my hair and my teeth. I put on some mascara then went back into the bedroom. Jack was looking in the mirror fixing his own hair.
"Here, take this." Isla handed me a Santa hat. I took it and put it only head, adjusting my hair so it looked good.
When Jack finished brushing his teeth we all went downstairs into the living room. The tree was in the den, but we couldn't show the presents to the kids until everyone was ready.
"My mom just pulled up," Jack said looking up from his phone. Soon Kristin and the family walked through the doors. Keri came with Daniel's family a few moments later.
"Everyone ready?" Autumn asked. We all nodded and the kids raced into the den to find their presents fro Santa.
"Wren," Jess whispered, catching my attention. I walked over to her and she pulled me aside.
"What's up?"
"Las night Daniel asked me to be his girlfriend," she said smiling.
"What?!" I gasped.
"We were standing under mistletoe so he kissed me and then asked me to be his girlfriend."
"Awww! That's so cute! I'm happy for you two."
"Thanks." She hugged me then we went and sat next to the guys on the couches.
We all passed around presents and opened them, thanking each other for what we got. Once we were finished, the floor was covered in wrapping paper. You could barely walk.
