Guys we hit 1k in like three days HOLY GUACAMOLE THAT'S INSANE. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH. I DECIDED TO UPDATE AGAIN TODAY BC THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY. LOVE YOU GUYS!! (Also if you haven't already go follow my instagram @luvforherron lol thanks!!)Wren's P. O. V.
"Let's get some pictures backstage," I said gathering the five guys.
They all did different poses as I snapped the camera. I was mostly watching Jack, which made me smile, but I had to stop. Even the slightest thing could tip Aspen off because a girl knows when someone likes their boyfriend. Even if he's not her actual boyfriend.
"Come on guys, you have soundcheck."
We had flown from California to Ohio for the first show. I was nervous. Not only did I have to take great pictures so David will hopefully recommend me, or maybe if keep me as their photographer for more than the tour. But I also had to make sure that I didn't let on that something was going on with Jack and I.
Jack was really good at hiding things. On the plane he sat between Aspen and I. Aspen fell asleep and Jack squeezed my thigh. He told me to wait two minutes then meet him in the bathroom. At first, I wasn't going to do it because I knew we'd get caught. But I couldn't go any longer without him. I stood up and walked by the bathrooms, and was pulled into one. Jack muted my screams by kissing me.
Anytime Jack and I weren't alone, he'd sneak looks at me. He'd bite his lip and look me up and down, or he'd wink and give me one of his irresistible smiles. I don't know how long I could stay away from him.
It's only been a few weeks, but I was starting to feel a change in me. Ever since I met Jack, something was different. It was like he gave me this huge boost of confidence. I was still shy, but I didn't feel uncomfortable around people like I used to. Being with him, even though we were the only ones who knew, made me feel confident in myself. It felt amazing, to not be so anxious and scared all the time.
The guys went onstage for sound check and I went to the greenroom. I transferred the pictures from my camera to my computer. I wanted full space for pictures from the actual show.
"Hey, you're the photographer right?" Aspen walked in. I always felt nervous around her. One day she'll come in and punch me in the face for making out with her boyfriend.
"Yeah, I'm Wren."
"I'm Aspen. I'm David's daughter and Jacks girlfriend."
"Yeah, Jack filled me in on that. He really likes you," I lied.
"Yeah, he's so sweet. I actually had a question for you."
"What's up?"
"I've seen some of your pictures, I'll admit I stalked you on instagram," she laughed and I returned an awkward chuckle. "You're really good. I was thinking maybe you could take some couple pictures of Jack and I?"
"Um, yeah sure." I didn't know how to feel about this. Taking pictures of the guy I like with his girlfriend.
"Great! I'll talk to Jack and see when we can do it."
"Just let me know," I fake smiled as she walked out.

The show was starting so I made my way to the space between the stage and the barricade. I showed security the badge David had got me, then stood out of the way.
"Hey you're the new photographer right? Wren?" I turned and saw a fan behind the barricade talking to me.
"Yeah, why?"
"I've been in love with your pictures since I saw your photo shoot for the animal shelter."
"Oh my gosh, thank you!"
"Can I have your autograph?"
"Of course!" She handed me her phone case and a sharpie. She was probably doing the same for the guys so I wrote small.
"Thank you so much! I'm really looking forward to seeing the guys in your pictures," she smiled.
"Yeah, me too." The lights turned down and she turned her attention into the stage and joined in with the screaming fans.
I turned my camera on and started clicking away through the whole show. I got some especially amazing pictures when the guys came off the stage and grabbed some of the fans hands and stuff. The smiles that I caught on camera were beautiful.
The guys ran off stage, and the fans seemed confused. It was called the 'Invitation Tour', but they hadn't sang 'Invitation' yet. I knew what was happening, though. They slowly started walking out onto stage as the music played. The crowd went crazy, screaming loud enough to burst an eardrum.
I snapped pictures as they sang. I put the camera down for a second to see Jack standing in the front.
"And I can't wait no more," he sang before quickly looking at me and winking. I tried to hide my blush, luckily it was dark.
When the show ended, I hurried to get backstage and set up my camera for the meet and greet pictures. The guys showed up a few moments later.
"You guys did amazing," I told them. They all thanked me with hugs. I tried to not make it noticeable that I hugged Jack for longer.
I went back behind the camera and security started letting fans in. I snapped a few candid pictures, then some posed pictures. The guys seemed to have a lot of fun with the fans, which made the hours of taking pictures not that bad.
After we finished the last pictures, we gathered our stuff and made our way to the bus for the three hour drive. I got comfortable on one of the couches and pulled out my laptop.
"Wren, you don't have to send those pictures out right now," David said.
"But the quicker the fans get them, the happier they'll be."
"Right, well you don't have to do all tonight."
"She's an overachiever, David," Jonah laughed. I smiled and went back to my computer.
I had all the emails from the people who bought the tickets. I edited the pictures, then sent the pictures. Daniel came and sat next to me, watching.
"You like them?" I asked.
"Yeah, I like that you took more than just the posed pictures. You can see the smiles before they knew about the camera."
"I thought the fans would appreciate it."
"They definitely will." He smiled at me and scooted closer. I looked over at Jack and he looked so mad. I shook my head at him, letting him know that Daniel is just my friend, then went back to work.
