Wren's P. O. V.
Nicki and I got ready for the show in our hotel room. I braided her hair at the top to look like a crown, and she absolutely loved it. It was her last show to see and she wanted to look her best. She was wearing a Why Don't We shirt, but it was so long that she just wore it like a dress with converse.
I curled my hair because Jack and I both loved how it looked. I was wearing the Why Don't We shirt with Avery on the back of it, black ripped skinny jeans and my Nike airs.
I helped Nicki pack her bags since she was flying home right after the show, then we called an uber to take us to the venue. We pulled up and walked around the building to the door Jack told me led to backstage.
"You feeling alright?" I asked as we knocked and waited for someone. I texted the guys too to see if they could send someone to open the door.
"Yeah, I feel fine just a little tired."
"Okay. Let me know if to need to rest or anything."
"I will."
Soon, the door opened and Tyler was standing there.
"Come on in," he smiled. Nicki and I walked in, taking the backstage badges from Tyler and putting them around our necks.
We went to the green room where the guys were waiting. Nicki hugged the guys and I did the same, sitting next to Jack on one of the couches. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed the side of my head. I turned and kissed his lips.
"Let's go guys!" David said. The guys stood up and started jumping up and down. Then they did their little handshake thing and ran out to the stage. Nicki and I followed and stood by the side.
Nicki enjoyed the show just as much as the fans did, if not more. I would have, but Jack had unfortunately been right about Garrett.
The guys were singing "Made For" and I was in the middle of recording my favorite part, Jack's solo.
"Hey sweetheart," he said walking up to me. He gripped my arm, turning me away from the stage.
"I'm trying to watch the show Garrett," I said, annoyance dripping from my tone.
"You see it every night, you can miss this one part," he waved off with a smile.
I shook my head at him and tried to turn back towards the stage, but he pulled me back. I landed flat against his chest looking up into his green eyes.
"I knew we'd be in this position soon enough," he smirked.
"Garrett stop," I said trying to step back, but he held me by my waist. It was getting harder for me to breathe. I was struggling in his arms, trying to get away when the flashbacks flashed into my mind.
"Come on Wren."
"Stop!" I shouted. I had burst into tears as I continued to try and pull away from him. He only let go when my legs gave out on me. I opened my eyes and saw I was sitting on the floor. Nicki came running to my side, after kicking Garrett in the shin.
"Wren!" I heard Jack's soothing voice call my name. I guess they had a break between songs. He came rushing to my side and he fell next to me, pulling me into his lap and cradling me.
"G-garrett," I tried to explain what happened. I was still sobbing and my shoulders were shaking.
"Shhh, just try to calm down," he said rubbing my back. I cried into his chest. When I pulled back I saw him glaring at someone who I already knew was Garrett. If looks could kill, he'd be dead.
"I'm sorry," I sighed catching my breath. "Go back on stage."
"Not before I do two things," he told me.
First, he grabbed my cheeks, slowly and passionately kissing my lips. Then, he helped me stand up and walked over to Garrett, punching him right in the jaw. He grabbed his microphone from Zach who was holding it for him, then walked back to the side of the stage to get ready to go back on.
"Leave her alone," Zach said to Garrett before following Jack.
"You don't know what she's been through," Jonah said. Garrett had a confused look on his face.
"Just leave," I said quietly. He looked at me, then at Jonah who was still standing there, and finally decided to leave.
"Just a few more songs and Jack will be back," Nicki told me, wrapping her arms around me.
"I'm sorry you had to see that," I told her.
"It's okay. He's a jerk."
"Yeah." I took her hand and we walked back over to the stage.
As Jack sang, he looked over at us. I sent a soft smile his way, letting him know I was fine. He returned it and went back to paying attention to the crowd.

"What did he say to you?" Jack asked. We were sitting on the bus, waiting for David. Nicki and I had to leave as soon as David got on, but we still had a few minutes.
"He didn't say much, he just pulled me into him and wouldn't let go no matter what I said or did. It reminded me of my dad and that's what made me freak out," I told him. I was sitting with my legs across his lap and my head on his shoulder. He had one arm wrapped around me and the other was rubbing my thigh.
"What did your dad do?" Nicki asked.
"He um... He just hurt me. Really bad... That's why he's in jail," I told her.
"Oh. I'm sorry."
"Davids coming!" Daniel shouted. I sighed before kissing Jack. Nicki said her goodbyes to all of the guys, taking the longest with Jonah.
"Cuddle that bear I gave you. And I'll see you again in the states little sis," he said smiling. She smiled back and hugged him again before finally stepping off the bus.
"I'm sorry you have to leave early," I said as we hopped into the uber that drove us to the airport.
"It's okay. I had fun while I was here and that's what matters."
"You're right. I just know I'm gonna be lonely in my hotel room without you," I pouted.
"Whatever, we both know Jack will be in there every night," she said making me blush.
"Shh," I said putting my finger to my lips. We both laughed and soon the car pulled up to the airport.
"Thank- I mean merci," I said hopping out of the car with Nicki's bags. The driver nodded with a smile before driving off.
We got in and I explained to her what she had to do just to make sure she knew. I bought her a Starbucks drink and a cake pop for the flight then sent her off, also sending a text to Naomi. I waited until I couldn't see her anymore then started to leave the airport.
I had last minute decided to fly to London instead of taking a cab. I was already packed and already there, and there were tickets available. I quickly bought one, texting Jack and letting him know I'd get there before them since they were driving. The plane was leaving pretty soon so I went ahead and went through security and waited for my flight to be called.
I followed the rest of the people on my flight through the gate to board the plane. I found my seat and sat down, very happy that it was a window seat. The seat next to me was empty, until the last second. Just as the flight attendant started talking, someone sat down next to me and I was not happy about who it was.
Garrett.
