Wren's P. O. V.

"Bye Jack."

"Goodbye babe," Jack whispered into my ear. We were at the airport and Jack didn't want to let me go. I didn't want to let go either, but I knew I had to.

"I'll miss you so much," I said.

"I don't want you to go," he said squeezing me tighter.

"I know, but I'll be back before you know it," I said.

"I love you."

"I love you too." I kissed his lips, savoring the taste and the feeling of his lips since I'd be missing it for a while.

I waved to him and the guys as I walked off towards my gate. I had never flown on my own before. It was quite nerve wracking.

I found my seat and was so happy when I got the window seat. I loved watching the clouds below us. I got settled with the neck pillow that Zach bought me and the headphones that Jack bought for me. I listened to mostly Why Don't We because Jack's voice kept me calm.

As the plane took off I noticed that no one had taken the seat next to me. I guess I had good luck.

I safely got to my hotel and checked in with no problem. I wasn't meeting up with Naomi until tomorrow so for the rest of the day I could just chill. It was about five in New Jersey, but only two in California.

I decided to call Jack because I already missed him so much.

"Did you get there okay?" He asked as soon as he picked up.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm in my hotel already."

"Okay good. The guys and I are about to record but I can spare a few minutes."

"I already miss you so much. It's kind of scary being here alone," I admitted.

"I know baby, but it'll be okay. You'll meet your family tomorrow and everything will make sense and it'll be like you were never alone."

"Yeah."

"Have you eaten yet?" He asked.

"It's barely five, Jack. And I can take care of myself."

"I know I know. I just wanna make sure you're okay."

"I am. You don't have to worry about me."

"I don't have to, but I will anyways."

"I know. I'll let you go. Go make some fire music for me."

"I will. It's all for you."

"I love you."

"I love you too." I hung up then collapsed on the bed. I sat right back up, feeling like something was missing. I quickly went to my suitcase and grabbed Jack's sweatshirt from it, throwing it on over my tank top and going back go the big bed.

It was only five, but I was so tired. I snuggled up with Jack's sweatshirt close to my face, and I quickly fell asleep.

"Come on Jack!" David snapped, pulling me out of my daze. "What's going on with you today? You need to focus."

"I'm sorry, I'm just out of it."

"Okay let's take five guys," our choreographer announced. We were working on the dances to 'Trust Fund Baby' and I kept messing up. All I could think about was Wren. She had called me before rehearsals and I knew she was okay, but I was still a little worried.

The guys gave me sympathetic looks as they went to get water. I grabbed my water bottle and plopped on the nearby couch. Aspen, who often came and acted as David's assistant, came and sat next to me.

"Thinking about Wren?" She asked.

"She's alone and she doesn't know her way around. I'm just worried."

"I know, but she can handle herself Jack. Plus, Christina is only about an hour away. If she really needs anything Christina can help."

"I just can't help worrying. Especially with everything she's gone through. I don't know if she'll be okay on her own. Or with people she doesn't know."

"She'll be okay. Just try to focus on the fans today. You want to do the best you can for them right?"

"Of course I do."

"Then focus on them while you dance," she chuckled pushing my shoulder.

"Thanks Aspen," I said smiling a little. I gave her a hug then went back over by the mirror to wait for our choreographer.

We worked for about another hour, and we finished the whole routine. David took us into the break room and let us rest before we all went home.

"Hello?" My voice was groggy and barely there. It was like six in the morning when Wren called.

"Sorry babe, I forgot about the time zones. Do you want me to call you later?"

"No, it's fine. You going to meet them?"

"Yeah, and I'm super nervous."

"Don't be. They'll love you."

"I just don't know if I can handle going through my moms childhood. And talking about Em. And having to tell them what my dad did."

"You can do it baby, I know you can."

"If I text you help at all today, just call me so I can take a break."

"Okay, I will."

"Thank you."

"God I miss you so much," I said quietly after a second of silence.

"I miss you too."

"I kept messing everything up yesterday. All I kept thinking about was you alone in that hotel room."

"I was fine."

"I know, but still. Plus, we never got to finish what we started a few days ago. Something about you alone in a hotel room got me thinking."

"It's been two days and you're already horny," she laughed.

"I can't help it. You left me with just my imagination."

"Maybe I can help you out. But not right now."

"Can't wait."

"I gotta go," she said laughing. "I love you."

"Love you too." I hung up with a smile on my face.

After a few minutes of debating, I took my shirt and shorts off. I sat on the bed and took a picture of my very revealed body, making sure to get my face in it too. It took me a minute to get the guts to send it to him, but I finally did.

My phone blew up with texts as I put my clothes back on. Jack was sending me all sorts of stuff. Going from sweet compliments to dirty promises in seconds. I laughed telling him to remember it all for when I got back.

I put my phone in my pocket and went out to the front of the hotel where my uber was waiting for me.
