Jesse breathes before running out of her room and down a set of quartz stairs. "King Sean, Queen Solar!" She stops running and sits on the railing, so she can get downstairs faster. When she reaches the floor, she looks around. Lukas, King Sean and Solar are talking to each other about the whole Luna-war plan situation.
"Dad, I know that you still somewhat don't trust Jesse, but—" Lukas starts to say but he gets cut off by his mother.
"Lukas, after all we've been through, I believe that he trusts her." Queen Solar looks at her husband.
"Anyways... Dad, what should our next move be?" Lukas bites his lip.
"In order to have our next move, we need to know when Luna will attack." King Sean looks at Queen Solar and Lukas. Lukas goes to say something but he gets interrupted by a girls voice. Jesse's voice.
"Three days."
Lukas stands up, "What?"
"Luna is going to attack in three days."
King Sean and Queen Solar look at each other then Jesse, "How do you know?" The queen asks.
"A nights power fades during a new moon and becomes stronger during a full moon and—" Jesse looks at Lukas.
"That means the next full moon is in three days. Luna will attack in three days..." Lukas tenses up from the thought of his families kingdom falling. Everything being destroyed.
"And we will be ready." Jesse says, not hugging, or even making physical contact with Lukas. Queen Solar and King Sean both look at each other before going to the armory and talking to some guards. Lukas goes to say something but says nothing and just hands Jesse her locket.
"Thank you"
Soon, the sun starts to rise and Jesse felt a weird feeling. She felt like she didn't belong. Jesse walks through the town, with Lukas following her. She keeps on walking until she reaches Mayas house. She needed to talk to maya, and return her clothes. Jesse knocks once. Twice. Thrice. Then the door opens. "Hey, Jesse." Maya smiles and looks at her and Lukas. "Hey, Maya." Lukas grins. "Hey... Maya." Jesse says before smiling a little bit. Maya squints her eyes, "Jesse. Whats wrong?" Maya watches the blonde girl. "...Nothing?" Jesse says. "Jesse, don't lie to me, please. You can trust me."
A) "Fine, I'll tell you."
B) "I'll tell you, but... without Lukas here."
C) "I'm sorry Maya, but I can't."
