Jesse starts walking, slowly. She could see guards walking throughout the kingdom and giving her dirty looks. A young, handsome guard, walks up to her and takes off his helmet. He has bright blue eyes and dirty blonde hair, "Miss, I hate to be the one to tell you, but Prince Lukas wants you into the castle to pick up your stuff." He looks down and her and Jesse sighs, blinking back tears once again. "Okay. I understand. Thank you, sir." She says. Soon after, Jesse makes her way toward the front of the castle and the guards, guarding the door, look at her before letting her in. "The prince wants you in and out. No funny business missy. Just gather your stuff and go." Jesse glares at the guard before nodding.

When she is inside and no one is watching her, instead of going to where her room was, she goes down a dark hallway and do the birch door. She takes a deep breathe and talks to herself. "Hey Jesse, how you doing?" "Oh y'know. The usual. Just trying to sneak into a room that an ominous voice told me to go to." "Ah. I wish you luck." "Thank you, I'm gonna need it— AND... I'm going crazy." Jesse lets out a groan then turns to the birch door, "It's now, or never." She turns the knob and as the door opens, its makes a long creak sound. It sounded as if the door needed oil. As the guards turn to look at the door, they see it is closed and no one anywhere near it. Jesse, is however, on the other side of the door. She leans against it before lighting a torch. Everything is almost pitch black, even with the lit torch. "Um... Hello? Ominous voice? You hear to 'show me the future' and all that?" Jesse walks up to a mirror which is covered by a black cloth. Jesse puts the torch down and takes off the cloth. "Its a certain time. Everything goes a certain wa—" Before she can finish the rhyme, she gets pulled into the mirror. "GAH!"

Jesse could feel wind blowing in her face and she felt as if she were falling. After a minute, she lands in something very cold. Her face starts to freeze even though she has been lying there for less than a minute. Jesse slowly gets up and looks around. All she can see is a pitch black sky with few stars, white snow absolutely everywhere and abandoned buildings. She keeps looking until her eyes spot a dark figure. "Hello?" She stares at the figure as her voice echos all around. "Hello, Jesse." The figure says. It was the voice Jesse had been hearing. The voice from her thoughts. Jesse starts walking toward the figure, "How do you know me?" Jesse asks him then the figure smiles at her and walks toward her. The light shines on him, revealing a tall man with emerald green eyes, pale skin and brown hair, "A dad can never forget his daughter." Jesse immediately freezes up at this statement. She looks at the man and puts a hand on his cheek, "D-daddy?" Tears of joy starts welling up in her eyes. "Daddy!" She hugs him tightly and he picks her up and holds her, "oh my little shooting star." He holds her tightly and runs his left hand through her golden hair. For the first time in years, Jesse felt like she had family. "I missed you! S-so much." Her father slowly lets her go and she looks up at him. "Jesse, we need to talk."

"Of course dad! Anything for you!" Jesse smiles as tears of joy run down her cheeks.
"About your mother, Luna." He dad looks down at her.
"...oh..."
"We both know your mother has been—"
"Power hungry? Hypocritical? Evil?" Jesse crosses her arms, and growls.
"I was gonna say she has gone through some changes in her life but yeah. What you said works too."
"Daddy, I don't know what to do to stop her. I am only one person and... Wait. Dad, where are we?" Jesse looks around then her father puts his arm around her.
"Welcome to the future where your mother takes over and makes it night— forever."
"A future of eternal night... Everything and everyone is dead."
"Jesse, your the only one that can stop her. Your the only one that can save, and reunite both kingdoms!"
"But, I'm only one person."

A silence sweeps over them and Jesse looks down at the ground. Her father looks at her, "It's time for you to go." He kisses her head then puts something in her hands, "Remember who you are Jesse. You have the power of a night and the blood of a day coursing through your veins. I know you will make the right choice." He smiles at her. Jesse looks up at him, "Will I ever see you again?" Her father starts fading as he says, "I will always be in your heart." Jesse looks down at the object as her dad completely disappears. It is a silver locket with a black moon and a golden sun engraved on the front. She goes to open the locket but as she does, everything goes white. Jesse hears a giant explosion as she gets blasted onto the floor of the room she had entered moments ago. As she lays there, glass shards surround her and some actually cut her. She curls into a ball to protect herself and after a minute, she hears foot steps running down the corridor. She could hear them, even over the chattering of her teeth.
