While Jesse rides faster and faster on her night terror, Lukas sits on his roof, watching the direction the princess rode off in. "Wow. She was pretty... I wonder who she is. Hmm..." Lukas stands up and climbs down and back into his bedroom. When he gets back into his room, it is quiet and dark. He feels around until his hand touches his soft bed. It is as soft as clouds and it smells like lavender so it can help him sleep. The blonde lays his head on his pillow, before closing his eyes. As he starts to fall into a peaceful slumber, he starts to think about the girl. A smile appears across his face because he knows that girl is special. He knows she will return again.
"God, where is she?!" Axel bangs his fists on the wooden table that him, Petra and Olivia are sitting at.
"Axel, do you want to wake the whole kingdom up?!" Petra whisper shouts.
"Shut up! Both of you!" Olivia says and Axel and Petra look at each other.
"Olivia, we are worried about Jesse! What if a daytime took her?!" Axel screeches.
"Okay, two problems, Axel.... One, Days can't come out at night and two, DO YOU WANT A DAY TO TAKE US?!" She yells.
"Can all of you be quiet please? I could hear your yelling from a damn mile away..." A small yet strong voice says.
"Jesse!" They all run over and hug the girl. Jesse freezes up and sighs, "Sorry for being late."
"Yeah, um... Where were YOU? You said you'd meet us here and it has been like... Two hours." Petra asks, suspiciously.
"Oh um... Hehe... I just got held up." Jesse gulps and bites her lip, hard.
"Oh? Doing what?" Olivia giggles and looks at the princesses black dress. It is ripped at the bottom from her climbing onto the roof.
"Huh? Oh, just exploring?" Blush spreads across Jesse's face. Her face is red and hot because they are asking her questions.
"Exploring what, princess? A guys bed?" Petra laughs.
"Oh haha Petra." Jesse rolls her eyes.
"But seriously dude, where were you?" Axel asks, pulling Jesse aside.
"...I was exploring the kingdom. I may never see it at day so I wanted to see it at night!"
Everyone gets quiet when Jesse sits on a chair made of wood and iron. She couldn't stop thinking about the boy she saw or how he was nice. 'My mother was wrong about the day kingdom. So far, one of them seems really nice! But... Maybe it's just that one boy.' She thinks then looks up at her friends. "C'mon lets head home. Dawn is in an hour." Olivia says and the night terrors walk up to them. 'I have to see that boy again...' Jesse thinks then she gets on her night terror. They all ride back to the night kingdom in silence.
After the whole incident with the day boy seeing the night girl, Jesse kept going back to the day kingdom each night, at midnight, for a week and each night she would leave the slumbering boy a gift. It would either be jewelry, A flower or a card. One night, Jesse puts a necklace down on the window sill, not even acknowledging that the blonde boy was not asleep. She looks at him and smiles at the flawless boy. He has his eyes closed, a smile on his lips and he looks peaceful. "Sleep well, Lukas..." She whispers. As she turns back toward the edge so she could jump off onto her night terror, something grabs her arm. "I knew you would come back...!"
