○ Bring back the love letter ○

"Hey, are you sure you put it in the right locker?!" I asked Seongwoo, for the fifth time that minute.

"Yes, I did!" Seongwoo groaned frustrated "Locker 3-1 right?!".

"Did you just say 3-1?!" I asked startled, as my head snapped towards the lockers.

"Why? Why?" Seongwoo asked surprised as I racked my brain on who's locker 3-1 was, when realization hit me.

"You idiot!" I hissed putting my hands on my head, a doomee feeling coming down on me "I told you it was locker 4-1! Everythings over now! There's no way I can date locker 3-1's owner!".

"It's the wrong one?!" Seongwoo screeched "Who's 3-1's owner?!".

Right at that moment, I heard footsteps approaching the lockers. Thinking quickly, I covered Seongwoo's mouth pulling him behind a locker. I gestured for him to be silent, and he did, when I let him go.

Together we peeked around the corner and my speculations got confirmed. We saw a girl who was average-height, with semi-long brown hair, approach locker section 3, 4 and 5.

Desperately trying not to make a noise, I awaited the fearful moment she would open her locker. Without paying much attention she opened her locker, and pulled out a book. She was completely oblivious to the envelope that fell out.

"Are you serious?!" I questioned embarassed "That's how much my letters worth?!"

She didn't notice the letter until she was about to walk away. Seongwoo visibly tensed up next to me, as she picked up the envelope and carefully examined it.

Without showing any expression or giving it another look, she pushed it between her books. She didn't even look around to see if the sender was still around, before she walked away.

Seongwoo made sure she was far away before he let out a big gasp for air. The air had been suffocating till that point.

"It's over for me." I mumbled dropping to my knees, as I was having a mental breakdown "My letter meant for the cutest girl in school, went to her best friend!."

"Daniel, I am so sorry," Seongwoo said as he dropped to his knees in front of me. He grabbed my hands and pleaded "Let's tell her the truth, I'll take responsibility so she can hit me! She will probably understand, why you can't date her!"

"It's over, my school life flashed in front of my eyes." I shook my head "If she exposes the letter it'll be over for me, but I will go after school, and I'll face her."

"Right we are going to explain everything and you'll be fine!" Seongwoo nodded as he lifted me up from the floor with his hands.

"Why Park Fayre out off all people?!" I cursed my luck as Seongwoo kept on going on about how we could just explain it...
