○ Happiness blooms from within ○

"After a long tiring day off school," Fay groaned stretching her arms in the air, "this really feels good."

After they received their order off cream puffs, the two of them had climbed down the stairs leading to the riverbank and plopped down in the grass.

"I think this will become one off my nap places," Daniel said satisfied, laying down in the grass with his arms folded underneath his head.

"Unless it rains." Fay noted realistically, opening the bag with puffs "There's literally nowhere you could shelter."

"I'll think of something when the time comes." Daniel replied with a smile, as he grabbed a puff from the bag "How much of these did you buy?"

"Twenty." Fay casually dropped, as if it was nothing much "So eat till you are content and full."

"Maybe a drink would've been nice," Daniel muttered getting up from the grass, craving a frappé.

"Where are you going?" Fay questioned surprised, as she continued to eat another puff.

"Wait here for me okay?" Daniel replied without explanation, before he jogged to the stairs, leading back up to the shops.

Fay didn't feel the need to scream after him for an explanation and shrugged it off as she continued to eat her puffs, and enjoyed the peaceful scenery...

*Nearby coffee shop*

"Two iced lattes please," Daniel ordered taking out his wallet, right when his phone buzzed in his pocket.

He quickly paid for the order, before taking out his phone and checking the message.

Risa: Hey Daniel, do you know when Fays birthday is?

"This is such a random message," Daniel thought confused and he was about to answer when then the barista finished his order and grabbed al his attention.  

"Have a nice day." Daniel greeted them before walking out of the shop heading towards the river bank, Risa's message long forgotten...

A few minutes later~

"I'm back~" Daniel called out to Fay as he held up the two drinks like a trophy.

"I knew it." Fay's face retorted in dissatisfaction, "And I told him it would be my treat today."

"Why did your face suddenly turn dark chubs?" Daniel noticed as he sat down in the grass.

"Didn't I say it was my treat today." Fay grumbled under her breath, recognizing the returning pattern off the pet name 'Chubs'.

"It's just two drinks." Daniel reasoned with her as he handed her the drink as a bribe. Matter of fact, he had ordered her favorite frappé - sea salt caramel frappé, and he knew as soon as she smelled the scent she wouldn't be able to reject it.

As soon as Fay smelled the salted and melted caramel, she caved in with a deep sigh "You're too persistent.", and Daniel suppressed a triumphant grin.

"I have my ways" Daniel grinned, making Fay shake her head in defeat.

"Whatever." Fay mumbled, reaching out for another puff.

"Fay, how many did you eat?" Daniel suddenly questioned looking inside of the now - almost, empty bag.

"About five," Fay mumbled with a guilty look,  quickly glancing at the puff in her hand.

"Are you sure?" Daniel teased her with a grin, as he turned the bag towards her. He loved it when she ate tons in front of him, and it was even better if her eyes started twinkling and she got that utmost delighted expression on her face.
