- Play the song above, when reading Daniel and Fays dancing part! -

I wish some nights lasted forever ○

"Dohee what are you doing!" Fay struggled to free her arm, and stop Dohee but the girl - who had an iron grip, was walking on stubbornly.

Here, and there, a few classmates greeted Fay and she smiled at them quickly, before glaring at the back off Dohee's head.

"Oh, this better not go wrong." Risa groaned as she hurried after Dohee, and Fay, followed by the rest of the girls.

She was worried about what would happen between Daniel, and Fay, after what happened that afternoon. Due to them being busy with preparing for Seohee's party, she had no chance to ask Fay about what really had happened after she had pulled Daniel out of the living room.

"Daniel, girlfriend, crush, friend, or whatever you call her in coming," Seongwoo whispered into Daniels' ear as he gestured at Dohee plowing through the crowd, whilst pulling Fay along.

Except for Seongwoo and Jisung, all the other guys were a bit reluctant to talk to Daniel after his outburst that day in the classroom.

Dohee caught his glance with a grin, and mouthed "I'm handing her over to you."

"Since when did Dohee take on our cupids role?" Daniel was confused for a second, but then Fays cute - in his eyes, panicking face caught his attention and he focused on her, "Is she bad at dancing or just shy?"

The thought that she might feel awkward with him right now, did not cross his mind. Especially not in that time, and place.

"Darling, show them your moves," Dohee couldn't contain her excitement anymore and pushed Fay right into the middle off the crowd.

"Dohee!" Fay hissed but it was too late, she stumbled forward and thought she was going to plant face-first into the ground, but Daniel swiftly caught her in his arms and swung her around.

"Fancy seeying you here." He gave Fay a mischievous grin, as she looked at him with mixed emotions. He could only describe them as a mixture of surprise, panic, and terror.

The crowd around them started cheering, and even the DJ took out his mic to make a comment, "A new couple has arrived on the dance floor! Should we expect some romance?!" he announced.

The DJ purposely changed the upbeat song - that was currently playing, to a mellow but edgy love song. The crowd went wild as Love Lies by Khalid, and Normani started playing.

Fay's focus had drifted off to the music, and the crowd surrounding them for a bit, but when she looked back and met Daniels gaze, her breath stocked in her throat. His gaze was warm, but intense at it was directed completely at her. He looked like he saw nothing, and no one else, which made Fay even more conscious of the position they were in.

The touch of his hand burned into her skin, and her heart started racing, she did not know if it was from all the attention around her or him beign infront off her.  The more Fay stood there the more she felt like she was losing herself in his eyes. Under his gaze she let the rhythm of the music take over her body and mind.

Without thinking, Daniel placed his left hand firmly but gently on her hip. Fay automatically followed his lead without breaking away from his gaze and securely wrapped her arms around him, with her right hand locked with his.

He would gaze upon her eyes, smiling at the girl he came to treasure so much in that small amount of time.  Every move he made was attached to her, and he could feel the beat of her heart, beating harder than ever before against his chest.

"They look like they just waltzed out off a fairy tale." Risa sighed in delight, watching her friends on the dance floor.

Looking around, Risa noticed she wasn't the only one who was mesmerized. Everyone had stepped aside to let the couple have the whole dance floor for themselves, but neither of them seemed to notice their surroundings.

"They've totally losted themselfs in each other." Dohee who was standing next to Risa dramatically gasped, resting her head on Risa's shoulder "Why can't they date already?"

The rhythm of their bodies that danced slowly with the elegant music was passionate. He twirled her around, dipping her as he'd lean forward closer to her.

Staring at the beautiful girl before him, his breathing became shallow and his heart had suddenly felt heavy inside his chest. He was reminded of the pain he had caused her, and how lucky he was to have her in his arms right now.

With their bodies nearly touching one another's and their faces so close to each other, to her - and his surprise, Fay's face would turn to a light shade of pink. Never before had she blushed because of his mere presence and it caught Daniel off guard. Even if Fay tried not to get affected by him, she felt something inside her wanting to be closer to him. Locking eyes, they were unable to keep away from each other.

Daniel had expected Fay to push him away, the moment he had caught her but here she was swinging around in his arms. Moving along to the rhythm, and matching her breathing with his. Although she had not spoken a word yet, her eyes seemed to reflect the same feelings his did.

"I guess, I now understand, why he was so careful with everything." Jihoon sighed, as he watched them move around the dance room swiftly, mesmerizing everyone.

"I hope everything turns out well for him." Guanlin added with a firm nod, "They really do suit each other."

There was something between them, something that had always been there, but only the moment everything crumbled down, it came to light. Every move made sparks light up, and their surroundings faded away.

For Daniel, only Fay existed and only Daniel existed in her eyes. Lost and bound by each other's gazes, they reached the peak of the dance. As they came extremely close to each other, the crowd roared expecting something spectacular to happen.

Yet the thought of that discussion Daniel had with Fay popped up in his mind. Daniel took a deep breath, composing himself before he pulled Fay back up into his arms and broke the spell.

"I should have just kissed her right there." Daniel thought a bit belated, and with regret as they swayed around silently on the last tunes of the song.

As the music faded away in the night sky, slowly claps started rising around them, followed by whistling sounds and loud cheers.

Broken out of her trance by the claps and cheering, Fay let go of Daniel. As finally, their surrounding started becoming clear for her, she was about to take a step back but he grabbed her hand and started bowing to the crowd with a huge smile on his face.

Still a bit dazed, Fay followed his actions. She looked up and let her gaze wander around the gathered crowd, searching for a few familiar faces.

The first one to catch her glance was Risa, and she looked so delighted. The rest of the girls - especially Seohee and Dohee, were all equally smiling, and grinning at her.

Risa gave her a quick thumbs up, and Dohee mouthed at her "I told you, you could do it!"

After he was done bowing, Daniel guided Fay across the dance floor. She felt like all of it was a dream. He kept his eyes on her, yet still, he knew exactly where to take her. Every moment, every angle seemed to be planned in advance by him. Nothing felt forced; Fay literally thought she was floating.

"Daniel," Fay whispered, looking at the people surrounding them. Some of them were giving them looks off support, envy, and even admiration, "Everyone is looking at us."

"Really," He squeezed her hand slightly, chuckling softly, "I haven't noticed."

As if his voice was what she needed to break her out of her trance, she looked at him as if she was really looking at him for the first time that night.

"Spellbound by my face?" Daniel teased her with the mischievous grin, she was so used to by now.

"I'm just questioning why I'm letting you guide me so easily without even doubting you for a second." Fay shook her head, as she voiced her thoughts out loud...
