○ When I'm with you, the nights seem to be too short ○
They continued to stay there in the hammock and their own space, enjoying the fuzzy feeling the kiss left and - in Daniels case, gazing at each other with a soft and tender smile.
This was until Daniel came back to reality a bit, from cloud nine and realized time had passed by quite quickly without them noticing, "Babe, what time do you need to be home?"
"What time is it?" Fay's voice sounded equally hoarse as, as she opened her eyes slightly and glanced at him from under her lashes, "I was about to fall asleep."
"I left my phone on the table." Daniel groaned looking back at the table because he definitely did not want to leave her warmth.
"Oh, wait!" Fay expression suddenly lit up, as she frantically tapped her pocket with her hand "I got mine here!"
She pulled her phone out and looked at it with a slightly proud yet confused look. Whilst she was busy with her phone, Daniel couldn't help but trace his thumb over her lips, making them curve in to a smile.
"Still want more?" Fay raised an eyebrow in a teasing way.
"Always." Daniel rolled his eyes upwards in a desperate manner, making her giggle.
"By the way Niel, I got a message from my mom," Fay suddenly stated, turning the phone towards him.
"We won't be able to make it home tonight, because off dads meeting. You even forgot your keys at home." Daniel read the message out loud "Since you can't enter the house, is it possible for you to stay over at Daniels? I trust him enough to let you stay over! Love mom."
"Oh crap, I did," Fay said wide-eyed, she now remembered the exact place she left her keys at. On the shoe cupboard, nearby their frontdoor.
"Guess you are staying over huh?" Daniel grinned slightly before stating in a playfully strained voice, "I'll have to live up to your mom's trust."
"If that's okay with you?" Fay looked at him insecurely.
"Hmm, let me think." Daniel teased her by tapping his chin, with his finger "Maybe you could spend the night in this hanmok."
"Anything would be fine." Fay shrugged, totally ready to sleep in the hanmok.
"Are you crazy?" Daniel turned serious noticing how she didn't take it as a joke "Your parents trust me enough to let you stay over! The guests are always kings at our homes, and in your case, you're my princess."
"Isn't that what you've been doing the whole day?" Fay chuckled, totally not worried about her circumstances, "And I'm surprised I did not cringe at that cheesy line."
"Yeah, so you should've understood I was joking about the hanmok!" Daniel said indignantly "Besides my mom would murder me if I did that."
"So you are a mommy's boy after all huh?" Fay questioned him amused.
Daniel shivered, thinking back on certain memories, "Women are strong and scary."
"It's good that you know that, but," Fay chuckled looking at her phone "maybe it's time we go to bed?"
"What time is it?" Daniel looked at her screen, to see that it was only 00:30.
"The night is still young boo," He exclaimed in a sing-song voice, "why the hurry?"
"Because first of all, when your parents return I don't want to still be in this hanmok frolicking around with you." Fay looked at him seriously "Second, my first impression to them can't get any worse. I'm having dinner at your house without meeting them, and now I'm sleeping over."
