They say nothing lasts forever, we'll have to prove them wrong

"Our relationship after graduation," Fay stated with a flat voice, "Everything after graduation in general."

"What about it?" Daniel didn't seem to be able to connect the dots, "Everythings going fine right."

He made it an statement because he was very sure that everything was going great between them. Only a week ago had they had that great date weekend.

"It's not about wether it's going fine or not between us," Fay sighed having an internal conflict about wether to tell him the truth or not.

"Then what is it about? Did I do something wrong? Or did someone else say something to you?" Now frustration was very evident in Daniels voice.

"No and no." Fay shook her head vigurously before sighing and blurting it out, "I'm not confident Daniel."

"Say what?" Daniel looked at her confused and surprised at the same time.

"I'm not confident in myself."

"Why not? Haven't I told and shown you so many times that you can be proud of yourself?! Or is it my loyalty you're questioning?"

"You know very well why and in what way I don't have confidence in myself." Fay pointed out sharply, "It's not you, nor this relationship I'm doubting."

"If you're going to be like that, we might as well break up Fay." Daniel said with a frustrated expression, "If you don't trust me to that extent, then what use is there in us staying together."

"I said I'm not doubting you and I'm definately not letting you breakup with me," Fay stated and Daniel let out a groan in frustration, "And I'm going to be selfish because I know I can be selfish with you. I don't have enough faith in myself to separate from you, but I do love you twice as much to let you go and to pursue our dreams."

"You really know how to make me a fucking mess." Daniel groaned rubbing his chin frustrated, "Like what the fuck do you want now?"

"You decide," Fay shrugged biting her lips nervously but keeping her voice stable, "Either you breakup with me, or go on with a girlfriend who's unstable about herself. Someone who's going to take quite of your energy."

She awaited his answer patiently, albeit nervously and wrapped her arms around herself protectingly. When she heard him let out a deep sigh, she averted her gaze and expected the worst.

It was the least to say that Fay was quite shocked, when she suddenly felt two arms around her, pressing her into a firm and warm chest as a familiar scent tickled her nose.

"How do you expect me to break up with my chubs?" Daniel mumbled in her hair as he held her very tightly against himself, "I would rather move to a foreign country."

"And you would still survive there." Fay rolled her eyes peacefully, as relief filled her chest.

Daniel nozzeled his nose into her hair and neck, unlocking a slight giggle from Fay.

"That tickles," She giggled softly.

"Fay, I love you." Daniel stated simply, just like the first time he had done but this time she wasnt shocked anymore.

"I know," Fay giggled once again and replied without much thought, "And I love you too, my big teddy bear."

"So please never make me say that I'm going to break up with you." Daniel almost begged her, and his voice sounded deeply sad, "I want to hear lots and lots more 'I love you's' from you than just this once."
