Your hugs and kisses are the only sunshine I need ○

"Almost done!" Fay looked at the table in front of her with a proud look.

She had prepared toast, milk, freshly squeezed orange juice, a homemade fruit salad, fried bacon, sausages, pancakes, and egg rolls.

"I have to give them a good image." Fay thought, turning back to the stove to finish her scrambled eggs, "And I have to thank them for last night!"

She was so focused on her cooking, that she didn't notice her other half slipping into the kitchen silently.

"Good morning, beautiful." A drowsy and husky voice whispered in her ear, as a pair of arms wrapped around her waist.

"Good morning, Niel." Fay smiled, giving him a quick glance before focusing on the eggs again.

"It smells sooo good," Daniel muttered in a sleepy voice, as he rested his head on her shoulder.

"It'll be done in a minute." Fay answered, turning off the stove and scooping the eggs on to a plate, "Then you can dig in."

"If we wait for my parents." Daniel moved along with her - whilst still being glued to her waist, "We can have a family breakfast."

"It's a pity, your sister isn't here," Fay replied, as she tried walking to the table, but with Daniel hanging on to her it was far more difficult than she expected.

"You'll meet her soon." Daniel chuckled softly, not noticing Fay's struggle, "After she hears today's story from my mom, she'll be bugging me to meet you."

"Niel," Fay put down the plate with eggs, and grabbed his hands taking them off her waist, "Take a seat here." She guided him to the table and made him sit down.

"It's really difficult moving, with you hanging on to my waist." Fay smiled as she returned to the sink to wash everything.

"I can help." Daniel immediately jumped up, but Fay immediately waved him away.

"Yesterday, you did everything," She reasoned with him, pushing him back to his seat, "Let me do my thing today."

Daniel knew she wouldn't let him help her. They were equally stubborn in that way, so he took peace in sitting down and watching her do her thing.

After a while, he took out his phone and quickly took a snap of her.

Surprised Fay turned around when she heard the shutter sound. Only to be met with a Daniel, who looked at her with a shocked expression.

Fay couldn't suppress a laugh, as Daniel looked extremely cute in her eyes. His bed hair, and shocked expression together only made her laugh harder.

"Who are you sending that to?" Fay laughed, resting a hand on his chair and looking over his shoulder at his phone.

"The guys of course." Daniel sounded relieved that she didn't tell him to delete it, "I want to make them jealous."

"Oh look, Seongwoo send a video snap back." Fay pointed out as Daniels screen lit up.

"Let me see," Daniel said, as he opened the snap.

"IT'S ALL THANKS TO ME!" Seongwoo's voice blasted through the kitchen, and immediately Daniel lowered his volume shocked, "YOU BETTER BE GRATEFULL, THAT I MISPLACED THAT LETTER! OTHERWISE, YOU WOULD BE A REJECTED SPROUT BY NOW."

Both Fay and Daniel looked at each other surprised before they broke out in laughter.

Fay wrapped her arms around Daniels' shoulder from behind and rested her chin on his shoulder, "You would've certainly been a rejected sprout."

"I don't think so." Daniel stated confidently, tugging her on to his lap.

"Oh?" Fay looked at him amused, as she sat down, "And how so?"

"No matter how we two were meant to be." Daniel simply shrugged, "Even if I had been rejected by Risa, I would have ended up with you, because that's fate."

"You're such a deep simpleton at times." Fay chuckled, brushing her hands through his bed hair to flatten them down a bit.

"We could've given up during Dohee's party, but we didn't." Daniel grabbed her hand, and intertwined their fingers, "We didn't, and we miraculously ended up together again. That proves enough for me."

"Certainly true." Fay had to admit, and her hand slipped down from his hair to his face, as she carefully caressed his cheek.

Daniel gazed deep into her eyes, and her gaze reflected an equal amount of tenderness. A peaceful and serene silence overtook them, as they simply dreamed away in each other's eyes, and presence.

This was until a throat got cleared breaking their spell, and Fay quickly jumped up from his lap.

"I would love to watch this lovely scene endlessly, but I have to say the smells coming from the kitchen are making my stomach inpatient." The male - who had cleared his throat, said walking into the kitchen, followed on the feet by a petite woman.

They both looked like they were in their late 40's, and after a better examination, Fay could clearly tell who Daniel resembled the most.

He had gotten his tall frame, buff build and voice from his dad, but his eyes, nose, and trademark gummy eye smile were things he definitely got from his mom.

"W-would you like some tea or coffee?" Fay stuttered, stiffening up by their appearance.

"Oh dear, did you prepare all of this?" Daniels mother gasped at the table, as she took Fay's hands in hers.

"Yes, I hope it is to your taste." Fay nodded her head, as she felt the nerves surge to her.

"At least you'll never starve Daniel." Daniels father winked at Daniel, making the later grin.

"You made so much, thank you, dear." Daniels mother smiled at her, and Fay noticed how it was a copy of her sons.

"It was nothing, ma'am." Fay immediately shook her head, "After everything you did for me yesterday, I should at least do this much in return."

"Oh, where are my manners!" His mother gasped, taking Fay by surprise, "I haven't introduced myself."

"It's morning mom, it's allright." Daniel chuckled calmly, as he scooped a sausage on to his plate.

"Fay dear, the eggs are delicious." Daniels dad stated, giving her a thumbs up.

"Alright since these two don't mind it, I'll do it myself." Daniels mom let out a dejected sigh, "That man there," she pointed at her husband, "Is Kang Ho-jung, Daniels dad. And I'm Kang Min-ah. It's a pleasure to meet you, Fay."

"Nice to meet you mrs. Kang, I'm Park Fayre." Fay hurried to say, although the both of them alreay knew her name.

"No need to be so nervous." Minah smiled at her, as she gave Fay's hand a reassuring pat to ease up the tensed girl.

"She already likes you, Fay." Daniel winked at her, turning around in his chair, "Don't stress it."

Someone of the tension visibly left Fay, but she still looked far from eased up.

"Mrs. Kang why don't you take a seat." Fay smiled at her, gesturing at the empty chairs, "I'll make some tea for you."

"That's very attentive of you." Minah smiled back before correcting Fay, "But please call me Minah, or..." a mischievous expression - wich Fay recognized from Daniel, graced her face, "Mom if you want to."

"So both mother and son like to get people flustered." Fay suppressed a grin before answering, "I will mom. Dad, do you want some coffee or tea?"

Minah looked at her surprised, and both Daniel and Hojung started chuckling.

"Coffee please, dear." Hojung chuckled, as his wife sat down with a pleased expression.

"Mom, Fays immune to our teasing," Daniel explained to his mother with a pleased and proud expression. "She won't even blink. I've tried so many times."

"Finally! I got someone to back me up in this house." Hojung cheered, unlocking a laugh from Fay...
