○ I'm smiling just to stop the tears from falling ○

"Why me?! Why now?! Why?!" Fay was screaming internally as she was walking home in a haze.

So many questions were running through her head, but none of them could be voiced out, not if she wanted to spare everyone's feelings.

"What was it that I did? Why didn't you tell me immediately?" A tear slipped out off Fay's eyes, and she wiped it away frustrated "In what way did I ever scare or limit you? I did my best not to make you disgusted off me, yet this is what get in the end!"

More and more tears started dropping down like a downpour, and Fay didn't even bother to wipe them anymore, as she let everything out silently.

She never expected herself to be hurt so badly. Just when she was gaining a little hope that it was going well, it all came crashing down at once, and she found out in the worst way possible.

"What did I ever do to you to deserve this?" Fay started walking quicker, as her house came in sight "I never meddled with you once before this! Why?! Because you wanted to date Risa? You would've failed without me even being there!"

Fay had difficulties opening the door, as she couldn't see well through her tears. She fumbled with the keys frustrated until the door finally opened.

There were no lights on, so she knew her dad wasn't home yet. She slumped down against the door and started sobbing uncontrollably as she hugged her knees to her chest.

"The most frustrating thing is," Fay thought to herself "When did I start liking you so much?!"

*School*

"Fay?! Fay?!" Daniel called out, as he ran through the corridors whilst hugging her sweater to his chest.

"What's wrong?!" Risa opened the door alarmed by his yelling. The bad feeling from before came straight back.

"Did you see Fay?!" Daniel asked frantically, as the classroom door - two rooms away, opened and the boys walked out, alarmed by the loud voices.

"Yeah, she went home a half an hour ago, her dad messaged her," Risa said trying to calm him, and her own bad feeling, down.

"Oh, is that so?" Daniel asked surprised, looking at the sweater in his hand.

"Why? Didn't she come to drop off your script?" Dohee asked confused.

"She came to retrieve it in our classroom," Sungwoon added stepping closer.

"Maybe I should text her," Risa mumbled, as she headed back into the classroom to grab her phone.

"I fell asleep accidentally, so I guess she didn't want to bother me." Daniel sighed slightly in relieve, but something told him something was wrong. Usually, she would stay next to him until he woke up.

"Yeah don't worry, Fays the type to not want to bother you." Risa gave him an encouraging smile, as she walked back with her phone "I just received a message from her." 

She showed them the screen with a new message from Fay.

Fayfay: I'm home and well now 

Fayfay: The neighbors lost their keys, and we have the spare ones

Fayfay: Fay to the rescue lmao 💁

Fayfay: Tell everyone g'night and don't work too late!

"Oh, phew." Daniel let out a relieved sigh, and Risa felt a bad feeling dissolve again. 

"Guess we should follow her words then." Dohee agreed, looking around "Let's pack up, and head home for the night."
