"It was nice meeting you, ma'am." Daniel said walking into the livingroom "But I have to go again."
He hoped he didn't look distressed, and he tried sounding as calm as he could.
"Oh! Already? Won't you stay for dinner?" Leo asked, feeling gratefull for everything Daniel had done that day.
"I can't, we have a classmates party tonight, so I'll have to freshen up at home first." Daniel looked a bit apologetic, as Fay walked into the livingroom too.
Fay kept on looking down, hoping her brother and mother wouldn't notice her red eyes.
"Are you two going too?" Ga-In looked from Fay to Risa and back.
"Uh, y-yeah we are." Risa stuttered, after exchanging a glance with Fay.
"It's Seohee's party, she'll kill you guys if you don't come." Daniel helped them, noticing how clueless, and lost they were.
"Oh right!" Risa clapped in her hands, as the bell finally started ringing in her head "The spring themed one?"
"Yep, starts a 19:30 so be on time ladies." Daniel winked at them, before he walked to the corridor - leading to the front door, and slipped on his sneakers.
"You shouldn't be the one to tell us that." Fay shortly remarked, forcing a smile. Internally she winced at how sharp her own voice sounded.
"Such a pity you have to leave." Ga-In sighed, dejected that she couldn't hear more interesting stories, "Next time make sure to stay the weekend."
"I'm not sure that will happen any time soon." Risa thought as she saw Fay's death glare at her mom.
"So you can embarrass me?" Fay rolled her eyes upwards, and her mom grinned at her slily, as if she had just read her mind.
"I will, thank you for the invitation." Daniel smiled as they waved him off, "Have a nice evening!"
"Fay we have to hurry!" Risa pointed at the clock after he was gone "It's already 17:30."
"Crap, we only got 2 hours left!" Fay eyes widened, and her mind started making a list of the endless things they still had to do, "We have to skip dinner I guess."
"How far is it from here?" Ga-In asked rubbing her chin in a thoughtful mannerism.
"20 minutes by bus." Fay and Risa answered in unison, looking at each other.
"By car 10/15 I think." Leo calculated the needed time quickly.
"Okay, I've decided!" Ga-In clapped in her hands excitedly "I'll quickly make pasta, and I'll drop you off! So go change now!"
