○ Darling, you're a miracle ○

"Fayyy!" My friend Risa called out to me as our last periods ended and we met up in the hallway.

I could see all the gazes follow her in the corridor and someone even fell on me. I could totally see what they were thinking and I sometimes questioned that too.

"Why are those two friends?"

"What a weird duo..".

"She's so cute compared to.."

Personality wise, we weren't that different. Risa was just a bit brighter and louder, but no one knew me that well, my depressing looks always scared them away.

It's something we've faced since the begin of high school and if I told Risa about it she would immediately blow up towards those people.

Maybe also the reason why our friendship lasted this long, and nothing has ever managed to break it apart.

"Oh my god last period was killing me." Risa said, "Mrs.Kim was as usual in a bad mood, and she decided to do a sudden mini quiz."

"Someone needs to find her a man, she's just salty that she's 31, and still isn't settled." I bluntly said, as we walked towards our lockers.

"You mean a sour virgin." Risa laughed, as she waved at a few people passing by.

"Do you believe she's a virgin?" I lowered my voice a bit "She's actually quite pretty, if she just wasn't so uptight.".

"Leaving Mrs.Kim asiden when is your mom coming home again?" Risai asked.

"Probably in a month or so." I shrugged as it was always uncertain due to her job.

"I wish I could be a wild-life photographer too." Risa sighed with glittering eyes "It must be so awesome, and dreamy to travel the world.".

"Yeah, so dreamy that she named me Fayre, and my brother Leo after seeing a group of wild lions." I rolled my eyes, at the history off our unique names.

"Fayre...beautiful...it actually suits you." Risa said making me snort, because off the absurdness "Besides speaking off Leo, when will he come home again?".

"I don't know, whenever his spring break is probably." I shrugged, as my brother was not that keen on dates and times "Or when he prevers it."

A fact only known to me was, that Risa had a crush on my brother - who was one year older than us - since middle school.

He has rejected her countless times, and even her attempts on flirting always got waved away yet; she till this day hasn't given up. Her reason: he hasn't dated anyone in all those years she knew him.

Now that he has started attending university, he moved into a dorm, and the times she sees him has become even less. Thus her always being eager to come over, if he was home.

The guys at school always thought she had too high expectatioms, when she rejects them. But no one knew, it was in fact, because of a 7 years long crush.

"Oh right, Risa?" I said remembering something "I won't be traveling home with you. I have to meet up with someone."

"Oh?" Risa said surprised, this being the first time in years "Who?".

"Well, you know..." My voice became a mere whisper "I found this letter in my locker, telling me to come to the backyard, after school.".

"Will you be fine on your own?" Risa immediately asked worriedly.

I think I will..." I said a bit unsure, as we arrived at our lockers "I mean this is the first time I received a love letter, so I've to face this by myself.".

The expression on Risa's face went from day to night, as she heard that it was a love letter, instead of a normal one.

"Oh my god! I'm so happy for you!" She squealed, slapping my arm repeatedly in a soft manner.

"You don't even know who it is." I chuckled, as I grabbed my outdoor shoes from my locker, and exchanged them with my indoor shoes.

"Just the fact that someone saw your beauty, and gave you a love letter, is enough to make me happy." Risa sighed delightedly, as she exchanged her shoes too "If only you would cut those bangs off. You have that Sadako hair look, covering your whole face".

"Pfft as if that would make the biggest change." I huffed, closing the locker and grabbing my bag "It's mostly my personality.".

"Then Fay promise me, you'll go to a barber with me, if this confession ends well." Risa said holding up her pinky, and giving me puppy eyes "Unless you try you'll never know!".

I sighed and held up my pinky, as I saw the determination in her eyes "Fine! I promise, I'll go with you.".

"Yay!" Risa cheered, before patting my back "Now hurry to that secret admirer,  you can't let them wait too long.".

"Okay, okay." I laughed before hurrying away...

And that ends the chapter from Fayre's side, from now own everything will be no ones pov, to make the impressions easier :)
