The best relationships usually begin unexpectedly

"So Daniel, how long have you known Fay?" Ga-In asked himn as she took a sip from her tea.

After she had rated Daniel as a 'fine specimen', she had dragged him to the livingroom. She told him to stay put, as she went upstairs, to bring her luggage to her bedroom.

She also orderd Leo to prepare some tea for her,  and it had to be ready before she came back.

When Leo decided to move out, their mom had been fully against it. She was afraid, Fay would become lonely, but when both Fay and their dad took Leo's side, she caved in.

Fay watched Daniel - with much amusement, and pleasure, fidget uncomfortably under her moms gaze.

As for a factn she knew he was very uncomfortable at beign inspected by other people. He liked it more when they started getting allong naturally, and her mom was the epitome off unnatural.

"Uhm...since the beginning off high school, but we didn't know each other that well at that time," Daniel answerd as politely as he could, "Only this year had we become closer."

"Oh,and why is that?" Ga-In asked curiously, sensing some interesting stories beign untold.

"Our 3rd year projects," Daniel paused, and shot Fay a glance but she just glared at him, warning him to not say anything, but he still went on, "And certain incidents brought us closer."

"Don't you dare." She mouthed at him, but she knew it was hopeluss. Ga-In had caught wind of an interesting story, and she wouldn't rest until she knew al the details.

"How about you indulge more in to those certain incidents." Ga-In leaned a bit closer to him, with glinstering eyes.

"Mom! You're making him uncomfortable!" Fay finally let out, innher opinion, her mom was going too far.

"Why? I'm just getting to know your friend here." A smile played on Ga-Ins lips, as she said the word 'friend'.

"Then, you should ask about normal things." Fay huffed at her mom, as she crossed her arms infront of her chest, "Things about him and his family!"

"I thought there might be an interesting story behind it." Ga-In sighed, looking sulky, as she awaited a story she could tease Fay with.

"Oh, but there is an interesting story behind us." A grin appeared on Daniels face, as a idea brewed in his mind.

"Tell me!" Ga-In immediately became lively again, and even Leo leaned a bit more towards Daniel.

Both Fay and Risa looked at each other with big eyes. They definately had not expected this.

"What is he doing?" Risa mouthed in disbelieve, with big eyes.

"I don't know!" Fay said looking slightly scared, "He wouldn't be so stupid right?"

"I gave your daughter a letter." Daniel started looking a bit shy, and embarssed "And of course she couldn't immediately give an answer, so we decided to start out as friends first."

"What the frick-frack Daniel?!" Fay felt herself have a mental breakdown, as her mom looked from her to Daniel with a surprised look.

"Did you know about this?" Leo whispered in Risa's ear, and she nodded her head without looking away from Ga-In.

"Oh, how romantic." Ga-In suddenly gasped in delight "I wish a guy like you excisted in my time. What did you like about my daughter so much?"

"That's enough for today!" Fay jumped up before they could say anymore, and grabbed his hand, pulling him up from the couch.
