○ I love it when I catch you looking at me ○
"Say, Daniel, we're headed towards the mall right now, but will we really find it there?" Fay questioned as their bus stop was approaching.
"Trust me, I know the perfect place," Daniel stated confidently as he gave her hand a soft squeeze.
"It's your best friend, so you better know where to go," Fay said in a slightly menacing tone.
"Have a little bit of trust in your man chubs," He chuckled as he rested his head against her shoulder.
Seated in a slightly crowded bus, they still felt like it was only the two of them on their bus. Wanting to avoid the big crowd, they had taken a double-seat at the back of the bus, but luckily most of the people had gotten off within 3 stops.
"I do trust him," Fay mumbled leaning her head against his, "But he's a clutz, and an airhead at times."
"Can't deny that honestly," Daniel agreed with a big smile, and Fay let out a soft chuckle, as she glanced at their intertwined hands.
"You have big hands,"
Although Fay's comment was quite random, Daniel wasn't surprised as he was used to Fay's mind wandering from north to south.
"Of course I do, especially compared to you."
Fay softly traced his hand with her free one, following the very visible veins upwards, before tracing back to his wrists.
"How about we skip the mall, and just endlessly drive around in the bus?" Daniel proposed in a joking manner.
"Wish we could," Fay let out an elated sigh, "A road trip, exploring the unknown, and living day by day. I would so love that."
"I'll take you on one then," He immediately stated, looking up at her.
"How?" Fay asked him with a soft smile.
"When we're older and have our driving license." He plainly stated, Fay was rather surprised that he gave her a real and achievable answer instead of something cheesy.
"Woah, you're making a long-term promise."
"Of course, I can already imagine it, just the two of us going to foreign places, with just a car and two backpacks."
"Sounds like a bucket list plan to me," Fay said but her voice got overshadowed by the robot voice announcing their stop, and they had to get off.
All the while holding her hand, Daniel swiftly guided her from the bus stop to the mall, and in the mall through all the known shops towards - a hidden one, a bit in the far corner of the 4th floor...

"Niel, I think that we should grab some lunch we can eat whilst we are walking," Fay proposed as they passed a shop with finger food, "Instead of a big or fancy lunch."
"Then we should have a fancy dinner," Daniel immediately countered, "On such a splendid day, you cannot skip a candlelit dinner."
"Whatever you want Mr. Romantic," Fay smiled at his dramatic act.
"So should we grab some food first? Or head to the shop?" Daniel stopped nearby the food court on the 3rd floor and looked at her questioningly.
"Is food allowed in the shop?"
"Yes, of course."
"Then let's grab food first," Fay said with twinkling eyes, as she partly dragged him with her.
"Alright, alright princess," Daniel willingly let himself get pulled along "What are you craving."
"You," Fay blurted out before she even could rethink what she was saying.
Even Daniel was shocked by that answer, and he looked at her with big eyes, his expression mirrored on Fay's face.
"How bold, but we're in a public place you know?" Daniel whispered teasingly, leaning closer to her ear, "Why didn't you tell me before?"
"It's the Daniel virus," Fay whispered back in his ear, and somehow a shiver went down his spine, "It's very contagious and makes you blurt out cringey and bold shit, but it also makes you hungry and makes you crave for..."
She paused a moment, but Daniel was way too impatient for that and whispered "For?"
"For curly fries you fool," Fay pulled back and playfully hit his shoulder, before sticking her tongue out at him, and skipping away, "Hurry up."
"What a handful," Daniel laughed shaking his head, as he hurried to follow her.
They joined the line in front of the snack bar but luckily didn't need to wait too long as the workers helped the customers very quickly.
Fay and Daniel also decided to get a box of 20 chicken nuggets and share it together and hurried to the store after receiving their food.
"Let's buy milkshakes later," Daniel promised Fay who nodded her head in agreement.
"Let's first get Ji's present, after that we can relax."
"Yeah, let's play it safe."

"Welcome!" A store clerks cheery and loud voice greeted them as soon as they walked into the store, and the couple greeted the clerk back with a smile.
"Should we ask her if they have it?" Daniel proposed but Fay didn't give him a reply, and when he looked back at his girlfriend he immediately knew that they would stroll through the whole store.
Fay was musing around with a mesmerized look and Daniel couldn't help but smile.
He could've expected Fay to get mesmerized by this store. After all, it contained a lot of urban, vintage and cutely unique decoration and stationery.
"Do you like it here?" Daniel asked putting a hand on Fay's shoulder to pull her out of her thoughts.
"Yes, I do." Fay leaned into him a bit more and together they walked through the aisles as Fay admired the stuff they had and Daniel guided her towards the aisles with lamps and lights.
As they walked through the aisle, Daniels' eye fell on something on the lower shelves and he immediately pointed at it enthusiastically, "Look, Fay!"
"Thank the god!" Fay cheered as she squatted down next to the lower shelves, with lanterns.
The colors didn't differ that much - mostly black, white, gold, and silver, but they did have different sizes from gigantic to a mug sized lantern.
"I think a middle sized one would be fine right?" Fay looked up at Daniel who squatted down next to her too, and took it from her hands to examine before nodding his head, "I think this is perfect."
Fay's expression relaxed "Great!", but Daniel still looked at the lantern as if something was missing.
"It would have been nicer if there had been a pattern on the lamp." He pouted slightly dissatisfied.
"I think I can fix that." Fay winked at Daniel who looked at her curiously.
"How?"
"If you get me some fairy lights to put inside the lantern, I'll show you how I'm going to fix this."
Daniel got up and shrugged compliantly, "Alright, we're in the lights section anyways."
He moved back to the start of the aisle where - if he had remembered correctly, he had seen those decorations lights.
Fay, on the other hand, moved away from the aisle I'm a search of an employee.
She caught a quick glance of one at the end of an aisle she had passed, and she quickly hurried after the person, "Excuse me, can I ask you something?"
Upon hearing her voice, the employee walked back, "Yes, of course. What can I help with?"
"Do you sell decoration foil for windows here?" Fay asked mentally praying they did.
"I....think we do..." The employee had to rack his brain for a second before he started guiding her towards another aisle...
