"Oh god, my hands are trembling." Daniel thought, as he was waiting behind a tree for Fayre to arrive.
He wasn't nervous because of her answer, no he was nervous, because of the person herself.
She was a girl with quite a lot of rumors going around about her cold personality. Although he wasn't someone who easily listened to those, even he could not stay immune.
Some people claimed that her bad personality was the frutition, of a curse placed by a shaman in the past.
Others claimed that Risa wasn't really her friend, and that she had blackmailed her to be her friend.
All off it seemed like a lot of bull to Daniel. He had been quietly observing them for a while out of curiosity. One thing he knew for sure was, the way they acted towards each other, was definitely not forced.
Thus the little hope he had, that she would understand his situation and forgive him. He slightly even hoped she would help him wingman, but he didn't want to jinx himself, so he pushed that thought away.
On the other hand, Fayre had to hold herself back from running away, the closer she got to the place.
"Come on Fayre! He gave you the letter now you have to face him properly." She mentally pep talked herself.
When she arrived closer to the backyard, she halted for a second. Calming herself down, she took a deep breath.
"You can do this Fay!" She cheered herself on, before stepping around the corner and walking to the empty space.
Fay slightly cursed herself, for not bringing Risa with her as protection "What if this all is a prank?"
In fact, Risa was the sharp-tongued one of them, whilst Fay herself was a bit timider. Risa would be the first person to jab someone with her heel if a fight broke out. This despite their exteriors being the total opposite of their personalities.
"Maybe he's running late..." Fay mumbled, as she looked at her watch "Or it is a she..."
The thought occurred to her out of nowhere, without seemingly being strange. Immediately millions of ways of rejecting them in a kind way, started running through her mind.
That was until a little "Meow" by her feet caught her attention.
When she looked down, she saw a pure white cat rubbing his head against her leg whilst softly purring.
"Well hello, there little one." A smile broke out on Fay's face, as she squatted down and patted the cats head "Where did you come from?" She softly cooed.

A peaceful silence followed were Fay kept on patting the cat, and it kept on purring in delight.
This was until someone cleared his throat, startling the cat, and making it jump into Fay's arms.
"Woah!" Fay said surprised, as she was able to catch the cat just in time.
"Did I make you wait long?" The same voice continued, with a hint of surprise in his voice.
"No, not at all." Fayre denied looking up, and her breath got stuck in her throat for a second "No freaking way! Were you the person to write a love letter?!"
You seem a bit surprised?" Daniel chuckled, scratching his neck with an emotion; that Fay could only describe as shy.
Kang Daniel one of the cool b-boying guys in school, wrote a damn love letter. The center of attention was standing in front of her with a shy look?
"N-no not really." Fay stammert slightly "You just never came over as the type to write a letter.".
"I honestly never thought I would either." Daniel chuckled, once again feeling like the flow was going well "But you know about that letter..." he was about to continue when the cat interrupted him with a loud meow, and neighed its head towards him. It definately wanted some more attention, than it had gotten.
"Can I pat it?" Daniel looked at Fay with a twinkle in his eyes.
"Of course, it's not my cat soo." Fay immediately said, as she was about to hand him the cat.
Yet before she could do it, he took a step closer and bent down to the cats level. He softly started stroking its ears, with the gentlest expression on his face.
Fay felt the urge to say something and blurted out "You know about the love letter?".
"Yes?" Immediately Daniels gaze shifted towards her, as she gained his full focus.
"I don't think I can resonate the same feelings as you did in that letter. Yet the way you wrote it, and brought your feelings into words really touched me." Fay said as a big smile started forming on her face "But I do want to accept them, and get to know you. Before I fully decide my answer....if that is alright with you?".
She said the last part a bit insecure. As if she could not tell whether he really meant everything, or if he was just fooling around.
Daniels' eyes widened in surprise, and the only thing he could do was stare at her smile. He was awestruck by how cute she actually looked, with that cat in her arms, and her bangs out of the way.
"I.." Daniel started, trying to sort out his thoughts in his dazed state...
