*Ali's P.O.V*

"Ali, wake up." I heard in my ear. I just moaned and put my face in my pillow. It's way too early to be up in the morning.

"Ali, come on." I heard again and I was softly shoved. Who could be doing this to me.

"Leave me alone." I mumbled.

"Can't do that." the voice said. I knew who it was. It's Carl.

"We have that run, remember." Carl asked me.

"Okay, I'm up." I said sitting up.

"We're leaving in five minutes so just grab whatever you need." he said and then left the room.

I got off my mattress and then went to look out the window. The sun was just beginning to rise so it was just starting to be come daytime. I grabbed my bag and put some any bars that I had and some water bottles. I was bringing my gun and my knife. In case we came across any walkers, I wanna help out any way I can with Carl. I then put my bag over my shoulder and then went to find Carl, who I found was in the kitchen.

"I am just grabbing other food." He said.

"That's good." I said.

Once he was done putting some other supplies in his bag, he looked at me.

"Ready?" He asked and I nodded.

"We have to be quiet." He said and we both left the house.

I doubt that we will be out that long but this is some time that we could spend time together and just work. We went outside of the perimeter of the community. We went up the wall and then we were outside into the woods.

"Is this all you do when you are out?" I asked.

"Yeah, I was here with Enid yesterday." He replied.

"Why were you with her?" I asked. I had the nerve to ask. I was just being curious.

"It's what we do sometimes. It's not a big deal. She might not want to be anywhere near me after what happened." He said being serious.

"Did something bad happen?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Not really. She just didn't like the fact that I didn't kill Deanna but it was a way of letting Spencer do it because I knew he was out there and also Michonne."

"And the explanation you said about it is true. You are doing what you think is right." I said.

"I always do." he replied.

We walked along a path. There wasn't really any particular place that we were going. We were just walking anywhere that we wanted to and it was fine by me. It was him that was leading the way.

"You wanna sit?" He asked me.

"How long have we been walking?" I asked.

"An hour." He shrugged.

"I am surprised we can go that long." I said and sat down against a tree and he sat down next to me.

"I like the freetime that people can get out here. It's nice." Carl said and I looked at him. He wasn't looking at me as he was talking but I know he is saying it so that I can listen.

"Is it what you normally do?" I asked.

"Regularly."

"What is your dad doing today?"

"He's leaving at evening with the gang to go and fight some of these saviors. There is like some kind of place that they wanted to go so they are going to it. I am just hoping that they don't get too tired after it's over." He said.
