Chapter 24

*Carl's P.O.V*

Any last minute thing was happening today.

Whether it was setting up our guns, getting our explosives ready, checking to see if we have everything, any extra ammo or weapons.

It's all getting done today because today is the day.

It's time.

Today couldn't have come any faster and this was something that we have been wanting to have happen ever since Negan and the saviors have came.

I'll be sure to turn this around if I have to. I know I said that maybe Ali and I should do it, along with Enid but I'm pretty much the next one in charge so it's only fitting if I go ahead and do it.

I'm not scared.

Hell, I'm never scared.

Well, except for the one time but we don't need to talk about that.

So yeah, here I am in my house getting my gun prepared.

I try to make sure that it's all nice and ready to go. I won't let this run out of anything it has.

"Where's your dad?" Ali asked me as she came into the living room and I looked at her.

"He's with that other group. He's gonna get them prepared and tell them the plan." I said.

"Would you still think it's a good idea that we trust them?" She asked.

"We have no choice at the moment."

I wasn't lying. Ali and I had no idea at all about this group that my dad partnered up with but we just have to go with the flow of things. It's our only option right now.

"You can do what you want but I'm not gonna trust them. I haven't even met them and I wouldn't want to waste my breath on them if they're gonna cost us our life."

"Ali, calm down." I said.

"I can't calm down. What if something happens to you? I can't have anything happen to you. It'll make me feel stupid knowing that I couldn't protect you. I need to make sure that you're okay." She blurted out.

"Don't worry about me."

"I have to worry about you, you're my boyfriend."

I took her hands in mine and tried to get her to relax. I know that she's a bit worked up at the moment.

"I'll have my eye on you the whole time, whether something is happening or not. Whether Negan is talking or not. I'm not letting you out of my sight. I'm gonna be okay and so will you. We're all gonna be okay." I said.

"If you say so."

"Have faith in me." I said.

"I do but I just can't trust that group." She said.

"You don't have to. It's your choice."

"Also one more thing." She said and I looked at her.

"What?" I asked.

"Apparently, the group had found out that we had a surprise visitor earlier?"

I raised my eyebrows.

"Who?"

"Dwight." She said.

This was a surprise enough to find out that Dwight was here. Why was he here? What does he want?

"I can see the look on your face that you wanna go after him and get him away from us as possible. But apparently to Michonne, Dwight wants Negan dead." Ali said.

"That's hard to believe." I said.

"I know it is because we weren't there but maybe it makes sense."

"That he suddenly wants to turn his back on his boss and have him killed?" I asked.

"There's only one way to find out." Ali said.

"I don't care if he's gonna help us or not. There's only one thing that I'm focused on and that is getting back at Negan and getting Sasha back." I said.

I know that Sasha isn't back. She is still at the sanctuary with them and we have to get her back safely.

"She's still not back?"

"Rosita said she went in." I said.

Ali looked down at the ground and then looked back up at me.

"We have to go get her." She said.

"I'm sure she'll be with Negan." I said.

She just nodded.

"But if she's with Negan then how would we get her?" Ali asked.

"I'm sure my dad can strike a deal with them in trading her."

"She isn't some kind of object Carl."

"I know but still. We have to do something or else something is gonna happen to her and we can't have that happen." I said and I was starting to become more stern.

I wasn't raising my voice but I was trying to reason because we need Sasha back and I don't want any of us to die. I can't have that happen.

"But what if something happens to her?" Ali asked now starting to get worried.

"Like as she gets hurt or she dies?" I asked.

Ali nodded.

"Then that will be when we make our move."

Ali was confused as to why I had said that. I think she forgot what we had planned.

"What do you mean?"

"Remember. I had said that we would be the ones to take the first shot. Then it will be the cause of the whole blowout." I said.

"Oh yeah." She laughed and I just hugged her and then kissed her forehead.

"Then do you think the Kingdom will come?"

"We would have to see once it all goes crazy." I said.

"Are you ready?" She asked.

Was I ready? Of course I was. I wasn't scared and I'm ready to do everything it takes to get rid of these people. They're threats.

"I'm ready." I said looking into her eyes.

Anytime now would be the time for this to start.

It's time to bring the hell.

Hey guys so here is chapter 24.

Pretty much in this chapter, the group is preparing and they're getting ready to go and see the saviors and Negan.

All of the action will be in the next chapter.

This whole chapter is based off of just Carl and Ali talking and seeing the possibilities of what can happen.

What can happen?

Well, it'll all get answered in the next chapter.

I know this authors note kinda sucks. I just don't know what to put.
