Chapter 15

*Carl's P.O.V*

I was gonna be leaving any minute.

I was going to go after Negan. I have been thinking about this for a while and I know that Ali wouldn't approve of me doing this but I have to. I have to do this for Abraham and Glenn. Negan killed my friends and had a grin on his face after he did it. I have to do this.

Nobody will stop me and neither will Ali.

Speaking of Ali.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Ali asked me as she came into our room.

"I am just thinking about Abraham and Glenn. I miss them so much and when we take care of this Negan problem, it will be for them. I was also thinking about going on a run. I have nothing to do today so I thought why not?" I shrugged.

"Can I come?" She asked me.

"I don't think so. I shouldn't be gone too long." I said.

"Please be careful though. I don't want anything happening to you." She said wrapping her arms around me.

"Okay. I promise to be careful and when I get back I will be in one piece." I said wrapping my arms around her hugging her tight.

"I just wouldn't want anything happening to you."

"I'll be careful just for you." I said kissing her forehead.

"I'll miss you." Ali smiled.

"I'll miss you more." I said and then leaned in to kiss her. We shared a sweet kiss and then we pulled away. She walked me to the front door and then stopped and I turned back to look at her.

"I should be back soon." I said.

"I'll be waiting." She said and then I left.

I went out and then got in the back in one of the trucks that was there. I went to the very back so that I can be hiding. This is also one of theirs that was there apparently. I had then saw that Jesus was there as well. Is he doing the same thing that I am doing?

That leaves me to wonder.

"Hey." I said to him and he seemed a bit surprised to see me in the truck too.

So Jesus and I started going through some stuff as the truck was moving and was seeing what we can do with anything.

"I think we're close." He said.

"We should bail out and follow the rest of the way. See what we have to see." Jesus said.

"How?" I asked.

"We gotta jump off but we gotta go now."

"You first." I said.

I watched Jesus jump off the back of the truck and then I went to the edge to wave at him. Yeah,I wasn't gonna jump off the back of the truck. I actually wanted to get there and go after them. Simple as that.

I watched as the truck continued to move and then I had to go to the back. I got a gun that I knew I wouldn't normally use but hey, I was putting my self out there in front of Negan and his men. Why not do something different? Go big or go home.

Then I heard some of them talking.

I quickly hid and got my gun ready to shoot.

I saw some of them come into the truck and they were beginning to pick up some boxes, but they made a mess. Then one saw me.

"What the hell?" One of them asked and then I started shooting.

"Stay back. Drop your weapons. I only want Negan... he killed my friends." I said.
