So after meeting up with Daryl, the three of us - meaning Carol, Henry and I had followed him to this little place that Daryl has been staying at for the past 6 years.

Let's get down to it where he's been living on his own for all of these years and have been doing okay from what it looks like. I still don't even have a clue because it's crazy. I don't know how he was able to survive this long and be living here, in a dump.

But it just seems to be working out for him and that's good enough.

"There are traps everywhere." Carol told Henry and I.

"You haven't fixed the boats since last time?" Carol asked Daryl.

He didn't say anything.

"Good dog." Daryl acknowledged the dog, but not Carol.

I tilted my head at him and I looked over at my boyfriend at well who was just looking like he was confused as I was. I don't even know what to think.

"When was the last time you ate?" Carol asked him.

"Dog ate yesterday." Daryl said.

Back with the dog, I see.

"I'm not talking about the dog." Carol said.

It seems like Daryl hasn't been wanting to talk or at least just giving very short answers. I am hoping to find out what has been going on with him. But for now, I just watched Carol go out with Daryl into the woods which left me alone with my dirty blonde boyfriend.

"He's like very short." I started to say as I started to sit down on a log.

Henry was already sitting so I might as well just join him.

"With his answers." I then added.

"Is he always this off?" Henry asked.

I have a feeling as to why Daryl is off though. It's been six years since Rick had died and now Daryl is like still going through the phase of being sad and not wanting to do anything. He's still in grief.

"He misses Rick." I sighed.

I miss Rick too but I knew that I had to make a name for myself and continue doing whatever I always do in the world. It's bad enough, that I had to leave because of everything.

"I am sure my mom will find a way to bring him with us to Hilltop. He can't always be living here for the rest of his life."

I nodded at Henry.

"I see it happening. He may not want it but it would be better for him. He can be reconnected with everyone. It should be fine." I said.

"You're gonna be staying with me at Hilltop right?" Henry asked.

I looked at him with a pretend serious look on my face. "No, I am gonna drop you off and then leave with Carol."

His face dropped which cause me to laugh.

"Some girlfriend you are." He laughed.

I was trying to calm myself down now. Like seriously, I was laughing too hard.

"Yeah, I'll be staying at Hilltop with you. I want to be by your side and plus, with me being at Hilltop, I get to reconnect with people too. I wanna hang out with Jesus because it's been so long."

"You're such a supportive girlfriend. I love that and I love you, of course." Henry smiled at me.

"I love you too." I said and kissed his lips and he kissed me back before we pulled away.
