How on earth did she find a braille book? Especially one on Macbeth.

I was so angry when she called on me knowing I wouldn't be able to read the schools copy. But her being her I should have known sugar cookie had something up her sleeve.

I must have been in a state of shock for I heard her say what scene before I started. Over hearing her with Ms. Hayes earlier I know I am only supposed to end here but I want more.

"Enter Lady Macbeth, 'How now. What news?' " Turning my head towards Bella I give a slight nod, encouraging her along.

There is a slight pause before her soft voice floats around the muted classroom.

"He has almost supped. Why have you left the chamber?"

"Hath he asked for me?"

"Know you not he has?"

"We will proceed no further in this business. He hath honored me of late, and I have bought golden opinions from all sorts of people, which would be worn now in their newest gloss, not cast aside so soon."

"Was the hope drunk wherein you dressed yourself? Hath it slept since? And wakes it now, to look so green and pale at what it did so freely? From this time such I account thy love. Art thou afeard to be the same in thine own act and valor as thou art in desire? Wouldst thou have that which thou esteem'st the ornament of life, and live a coward in thine own esteem, letting 'I dare not' wait upon 'I would,' like the poor cat i' th' adage?"

"Prithee, peace: I dare do all that may become a man; who dares do more is none."

"What beast was 't, then, that made you break this enterprise to me? When you durst do it, then you were a man; and to be more than what you were, you would be so much more the man. Nor time nor place did then adhere, and yet you would make both. They have made themselves, and that their fitness now does unmake you. I have given suck, and know how tender 'tis to love the babe that milks me. I would, while it was smiling in my face, have plucked my nipple from his boneless gums and dashed the brains out, had I so sworn as you have done to this."

"Did she just say she would kill a baby?" Asks someone from across the room.

Quick to make a lesson, Ms. Hayes brings the class into discussion on what the past text means. How Lady Macbeth said she would indeed kill a child that has feed from her if she promised as Macbeth had promised to do so to Duncan, calling him out on not doing it now at the perfect time for he gave him 'honor', now making him not a man of his word.

Though as this goes on I couldn't give a damn, one thought kept running through my head.

How did she get this book.

...

The bell goes off and everyone starts to leave study hall for their last class. Sensing her pass my desk I quickly grab Bellas arm to stop her, earning a startled gasp.

"Alex?"

"Give me a ride home." Letting go I stand up and start walking out the door without waiting for her reply. As the bell for last period rings I hear her footsteps rushing to catch up to me before taking the lead out of the building towards her car.

The drive is tense and deadly quiet. Upon reaching our houses we both get out and head to my front door. As I am unlocking it I hear the creak of her shoes trying to retreat.

Pushing the door open I quickly grab the back of her jacket and direct her inside. Closing the door with my foot I strip the coat from her shoulders and hang it on a hook placed in the wall followed by my own. Kicking my shoes off I head down the hall to my room.
