{sorry a little late but i hope you all had a merry christmas:)}

by far the best day of the year. lights are up, music is on, gifts are shared, cookies are made, the smell of christmas trees and gingerbread fill every house, and mistletoe hung in every doorway.

finally, christmas was here.

"merry christmas baby!" dylan, your husband of 5 years, smiled at you while he gave you a steaming cup of hot chocolate. you both sat on the couch and watch your little children go mad at their christmas presents tucked neatly under the tree.

you had the most perfect family.

you're first borns; two little twin boys, Landon and Tyler. both had your nose and dyl's messy brown hair you loved to play with. you were married for two wonderful years, but both made the decision to grow your family. the day you found out there was two little angels in your belly was probably the best day you could remember. you were never scared about your responsibilities doubling or your energy draining twice as fast, you were happy with the two little bundles of joy you got. the day you told all your friends, everyone was just as excited. t-pose, as you like to call him, automatically called dibs on one of them (to have his name), joking of course, but you and dyl both genuinely liked the name, and Landon was always a name you liked.

you then waited a year to take care of your two boys, before expanding further. you were blessed with a perfect baby girl, charlotte. she had daddy's brown eyes and your small, cold hands. she was the age of one at this time. dylan picked out the name this time, which was always your excuse when people noticed that she was 100% a daddy's girl.

the boys automatically pounced on the presents. the first present, which the boys teared open together, was a big star wars blanket. you smirked at thier father, laughing at the fact of how he wanted them to love the series just as much as he did. charlotte sat next to the tree, slowly opening a smaller gift. she was the most gentle and calm toddler you ever knew. she soon gazed at two little pink socks and crawled her way over to you. you picked up your little ray of sunshine and slipped them on.

dylan gasped beside you, "look at those!" he said in his sweet baby voice as he tickled your girls toes, making her squel. you passed her over to her father whom engulfed her in his arms.

"merry christmas, my char-char." you still laughed at the nickname.

the boys were too busy screaming about their new action figures as dylan handed you a box. it had a perfectly tied red bow. you glanced at him and smiled as you slowly lifted the lid. you gasped as you saw a diamond necklace, tiny rose gold gems sparkled their way into a heart form which rested on a silver chain. the beautiful jewelry sat on a velvety bottom and hit the light just right. you slipped it on and showed it of to your husband and his girl. charlotte clapped and giggled while dylan gazed at you.

"mommy!" you two little rascals caught your attention as they brought over their newest present; matching blue slippers. you gladly took them and opened them for them. they smiled and slipped them on and sat on the couch next to you. you played with tylers hair as dylan turned on a christmas movie.

charlotte gurgled gibberish as she pointed out the window. you gasped as you saw little white flurries falling toward the ground.

"looks like we have a white christmas!" dylan exclaimed, raising his eyebrows at the boys, who quickly got up to get their snow gear.

you smiled at dylan, "merry christmas hun."
