Adeline's pov:

I feel my eyelids slowly start to open.

I'm laying down on the couch.

Ethan and Grayson are sitting on the coffee table staring at me, worriedly.

Why are they so worried? I'm awake.

Grayson says something and pats Ethan's shoulder.
E reminds him about something and Grayson agrees while walking out, leaving Ethan and I.

My head was pounding.

My gums were in so much pain.

My body felt like it was going through so much change.

"I love you addy-" was all I heard as I saw a huge flash coming my way.

What's going on?

Past Adeline's pov:

"Adeline?"

I hear a voice causing me to jump.
I look at my surrounding and realize I'm in a park. How?

I look to my left to see him. Lucas, my boyfriend.

"What's wrong with you?" He shouted.

"What?"

"What were you doing with that guy?!"

"What guy?"

"Don't act dumb with me Adeline! I don't care if we're in a public place I will murder you in a fucking second!" He said grabbing my neck and harshly pulling me closer to his face.

"Who.was.he?" He said through gritted teeth.
I whimpered.
"Who the hell was he?!" He yelled bringing his fist up ready to throw a punch at me.

I was waiting and waiting until I didn't feel anything.
I heard something crack and Lucas groan.

I opened my eyes to see a tall masculine figure wearing all black standing in front of me, shielding me from Lucas.

"Leave. Before I do worse." A deep voice said.

Lucas immediately ran off.

The dark masculine figure turned around to be faced with me.

I gave him a smile and said.

"Thank you, for- for saving me."

He just smiled. He looked into my eyes and told me to forget everything and forget about Lucas, then he flashed away.

Ethan was the one who saved me from Lucas that night.

It was just how Grayson told me that one time.

Suddenly the flashing came back and I was suddenly in my room sitting on the edge of my bed.

Past Adeline's pov:

I closed my eyes as I thought about two boys.

Grayson is so handsome and adorable, but Ethan is so kind, sweet, and caring.

I heard a knock on my window causing me to open my eyes. Then I heard it a second time making me look at the window to see Grayson hanging on by a tree.
