"Are you sure your okay with her coming over?" Diego asked me for the millionth time
"If you ask me that one more time I'm going shave your eyebrows off in your sleep. I said yes the first thousand times you asked me" I told him
"Damn girl no need for all that. I'm just asking" Diego laughed as he grabbed his blunt off the table in front of him
"I know baby I'm joking, but I'm excited to meet her"
"Good. I think y'all will get along"
At first it did seem weird that his ex was coming over. He's actually told me a lot about her and that she had a big impact on his life and that they are still close friends.
She seems like a really great person. I always seen her defending mine and Diego's relationship in comments on instagram and I'm really grateful for her doing that.
I was in the kitchen getting ready to make dinner. Diego wanted to order pizza but I wasn't in the mood for it.
"Babe are you serious?" I said looking inside the empty fridge
"What?" Diego asked looking up from his phone
"You literally have no food!" I said now looking in the freezer
"That's why I told you to order pizza" He shrugged
"You are crazy"
I gave in and ordered the pizza. Fucking Diego. He did that on purpose.
When the doorbell rang I became nervous. I've seen pictures of Jessica and she gorgeous. Like the kind of gorgeous that makes you want to cry.
I stayed in the living room while Diego went and answer the door. There was a few mumbles and then footsteps. I swear my heart stopped when I seen this girl. She was even more beautiful in person
"Oh my gosh! Look at you! Diego oh my gosh!" Jessica gasped looking back and forth between me and Diego
I smiled and got up from the couch to properly greet her. as soon as I stood up she embraced me in a hug. It shocked me at first but I returned it.
