Clary stood up and looked at me. "Clary please...I was just tiered...please forgive me" I plead.
"there's nothing to forgive" Clary whispers.
"How come you believe me when I'm tiered and I called you a lardass once....but you don't believe me when I tell you that you're beautiful when I'm wide awake, and I say it constantly" I tell her.
CLARY POV
I then get turned around. I see Jace. He pulls me towards him and looks at me with love and pain. He slowly and carefully grabs my jaw lightly, and pulls me towards him, so carefully as if he could break me with one wrong move, which is accurate. I close my eyes lightly. I feel Jace's lips hover above mine. His lips brushed mine. Then he kisses me. He tugs my hair towards him. He pulls away slightly. "You are beautiful" He says quickly and then kissing me again, he pulls away. "So please, don't hurt yourself because I said something stupid" he says and kisses me. "Please Clary" he pleads "Ok" I squeak out. He kisses me and i kiss him back slightly. He pulls away. "Let's go out tonight......Yeah?" He asks. i bite my lip. "Ok" I tell him. He nods and backs away. I smile and serch my closet for something to wear.

I look at my phone, 8:30. I smile and start to walk towards the door. My phone starts ringing. I don't even look at the Caller ID. "Hey!" I say excitedly.
"Hello Clarissa" My mothers cold voice says, shocking me. "I found out that Your father has been given you some money" My mom says.
"It was only a little bit" I whisper.
"A little? He gave you $900"My mom says. " I want to get those back, deposit me a check by, tomorrow" She says.
"What?!" I exclaim. "I can barley pay for my own apartment and you want me to pay you 900 dollars?!"
"I need that money for Valerie....I am not giving you another cent Clarissa" She says.
"Fine.....I'll figure something out" I say. I end the call and breathe. I want to cry but I have a date with Jace. I Go outside and see Jace. My problems disappear again. I Kiss him and he grips my waist. We go into the car and he drives me to a restaurant, a fancy one. We sit down and order some food, Our booth was alone next to a little waterfall. Jace laughs at my little joke.
"I love you Clary" He says. I smile.
"I love you too" I say. The food comes and we start eating.
"Clary....Yesterday....when I came late...I--." I look down embarrassed.
"I don't really want to talk about it Jace" I say.
"Clary, please listen to me....." He says. "I was picking something out...and it was stressful because I couldn't find something, perfect enough for you." He says. He stands up and lifts me up. He takes me next to the pond. "Clary, I love you, and I know we just got out of fighting....but I can't wait Clary....and maybe, maybe this will help you understand why I was a mess yesterday. Clary, I love you, I have loved you ever since I payed eyes on you, I will love you until I die, and if there is a life after that I will love you then." He says. I start getting nervous.
"Jace....What are you saying?" I ask nervously. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. Jace kneels down on one knee. My hands fly to cover my mouth.
"Clarissa Morgenstern" He says as he takes out the small velvet ring box. "Will you do me the biggest honor.....Of marrying me?" He asks. I stare at him. We just had a horrible fight, but I love him. So what do I do? What do I say? Yes or No?
