"Ok...I hope you all have your assignments" Ms.Blue says. "Ok....So let's see who goes first.."Ms.Blue is a nice teacher, I like her. Ms.Blue picks out a stick. "Ok....number six.." She says. I roll my eyes. Number six is Emily Brown. Emily Brown Is tall, She has brown hair and green eyes. I hate her, and she hates me.

"Hi, my name is Emily! My parents named me Emily after my Great Great Great Great Great grandmother Emily Brown....She was a good woman.... She fought in the Civil war...." Emily says. "It's a way of honoring her" Emily finishes. Everyone claps. She blushes and sits down. Mom sometimes accuses me of liking Emily...But I don't! I hate her.

"Thank you Emily..." Ms.Blue says as she pulls out another stick. "Number 18" She says. Ok, So maybe I do like Emily....But definitely not Marissa Stevens. She's blonde and mean.She bullies Clara. And if you know something about me, it's that you don't mess with Clara...Clara is too good for bullying.

"So, I'm Melissa...Obviously.." She says in her mean girl tone. The same one she uses to tell Clara she's useless and ugly. I glare at her. "Anyways...My name is Melissa because Melissa means Bee-."

"Maybe because she's so annoying" I mumble. The whole class goes OHHHH. I hadn't noticed that I said it loud enough.

"Cayden..." Ms.Blue warns.

"Ms.Blue...Please....I would like to see how Cayden's name is more important than mine.....Since Melissa is a wooden Nymph who took care of a god! Zeus to be exact...when he was a baby" Melissa says snobily. Ms. Blue sat back down. Melissa's Father was the principal....So Ms. Blue had to be careful with her. I stand up and walk to the front.

"You're right Melissa" I say to her face. She smirks.

"My name has no importance...." I say.

"Then maybe...you should shut up and sit down" Melissa says.

"I'm not done" I say. I unfold the piece of paper where I had written the mini speech I had prepared. "My name is Cayden......Nothing special.....But my mother named me Cayden because it means Fighter and warrior." I say. Melissa snorts. then she scoffs.

"Warrior?fighter? seriously?! thats so lame" She says. I look to the front of the room. I tear the piece of paper.

" I wasn't planning on saying this.....But I guess I have to." I say. "I was born Pre maturely" I say. "It means I was born before my due date. I was born two months before my due date......so....The doctors thought I would die....But I didn't.....So..." I turn to look at Melissa. "You might've been named after some forgotten wooden Nymph...But i...Cayden Herondale actually cheated death" I say grinning. " That beats you.....because.....what have you done in your whole life that is big? bully others....unlike you I actually do big things....like escape certain death...." I turn back to the audience and bow. "Thank you" They all start clapping and cheering.

"Cayden..." Ms.Blue says. "That's an A+" She grins. I grin back.

Tell me this whole chapter isn't the Jace gene standing out like fire at night????
