CLARY POV
I have been hidding in the kitchen, thinking about what i'm going to say. Just say it straight out! ask him on a date and then tell him! Ask him if he wants children and then tell him! YES! THATS IT! I nervously and slowly open the door. Jace was working on the computer. Stacks of documents on the desk
"Jace?"I ask.
"Hmm"He says, not exactly looking up.
"Remember at prom....when you told me you wanted to have kids with me?" I ask him
"Yeah, But....well, not anymore" He says, still staring at the computer. I look up, my hands on my stomach.
"What?" I ask him.
"I just don't want to create problems later on, with the company and everything...Jay already has four diffrent kids...with four diffrent women" Jace says. "Thats enough for them to run the whole company" He says.
"So you only wanted kids for the company?!" I ask. He finally turns around and i quickly drop my hand before he could see it.
"No Clary, It's just too complicated to have children...I just....Don't want to anymore...Before i did...not anymore" He says and turns back to his work. I would have been mad. But i was greatfull he turned. Because tears fell down my cheek. I go to our room. I go to the mirror and look at my stomach. it was slightly bigger. It's growing, the baby is growing. I lift up my shirt and touch my stomach. I move my hands around it. I have fallen in love with this baby....and Jace doean't even want it. I keep moving my hands on my stomach.
"I won't let him take you away" I tell my stomach. "I can't let him take you away" I whisper.

I need to tell him before my stomach gets any bigger. It has been getting bigger and bigger. but not too big. I go up to Jace. He was on the couch. He was writting an E-mail to the girl who is supposedly going to help him understand the company better. I bite my lip. "Jace" I say. "Can I.....talk to you?" I ask. He shuts his computer and looks at me.
"Yes?" He asks.
"Jace.....I'm pregnant" I say my eyes never leaving his face.
"Wait....What?!" He asks. His face turns into a frown. He didn't want it before....why would he want it now?! I feel my breath quickening. My eyes filled with tears. "Is it even mine?" He asks angrily. This time the tears actually fall down.
"NO JACE! IT'S NOT YOURS! I'M JUST SOME WHORE WHO SLEEPS BEHIND MY HUSBANDS BACK! OR MAYBE IT IS YOURS BECAUSE I SLEEP WITH SO MANY PEOPLE IT COULD HONESTLY BE ANYONES!" I yell. I cry more. "You know what? just forget i said anything" I cry. I go to the door I slip out of the apartment and slam it shut.

JACE POV
I look at Clary, she looked nervous. She had asked to talk to me.
"Jace......I'm Pregnant" She says.
"Wait what?!" I ask. I feel my face turn into a frown. I didn't mean to say it, it just slipped out of my mouth. "Is it even mine?" Tears fall down her beautiful face.
"NO JACE! IT'S NOT YOURS! I'M JUST SOME WHORE WHO SLEEPS BEHIND MY HUSBANDS BACK! OR MAYBE IT IS YOURS BECAUSE I SLEEP WITH SO MANY PEOPLE IT COULD HONESTLY BE ANYONES!" She yells Crying. "You know what....just forget i said anything" She cries. She walks out of the apartment and slams the door shut. a painting falls from the wall. Did you not learn anything from that girl at the park?! you fucking idiot! You shouldn't have said that! I can feel tears prick my eyes as i remember how sad and heartbroken she was. There's a child growing inside her. It may sound weird or gross. but i have a child. There will eventually be a person in this world, that are me and Clary mixed together. I want this child.

I want this Child and my wife.

I want them both
