CLARY POV
I walked into the room were the baby was. I saw Jace, he was sleeping, his head on the table. His hair covered his face. I sit down and pull back his hair. I smile at his adorable light snore. I lean into Jace's ear. "Wake up,"I whisper. Then Jace groans in pain and sits up. He pulls his hair back and looks at me. He smiles at me. I smile back. Dr.Montgomery comes inside.
"Clary, Jace, the baby has improved a lot.....we were thinking that maybe we could let your baby go home....babies do better in a home." Addison says. I look at Jace.
"Yeah...sure" Jace says. Addison smiles.
"Ok....I'll check him out" Addison says. Karev comes up to Cayden and starts taking out his cables gently.
"Jace.....we need to..." Jace interrupts me.
"Clary.....I was thinking.....Maybe we should move to California" He says. He looks at me. "You'll probably win the same amount of money and you will be able to take care of the kids easily" Jace says. I hesitate. He's right. California pediatricians are scheduled.....I can take care of my children. I look at Jace.
"You're right....we should...." I nod. Alex Karev turns around with Cayden, he gives me my baby. I grab him, it was the first time I have ever held Cayden. Cayden was asleep in his blue blanket. I take a shuddering breath. Cayden repositions himself so his body could be closer to me. His tiny little hand gripped my shirt close to him. "Oh.....my god" I whisper. I can't take my eyes off of the baby boy I was holding. I lean down and kissed his forehead. Cayden makes a little noise, but not of discomfort, but of comfort, making himself at home in my arms. I sigh and look at Jace, this is going to take a long time.

We decided it would be easier for us if we had the other three children in California. So we borrowed The Herondales private jet and went to California. Del Mar to be exact. We were staying in a hotel with our baby. Mom told me she would take care of Cayden while Jace and I went house hunting. We had gone to so many houses, but none of them were right. So now we're here in this house. It looks beautiful.

We went inside the first thing we saw was the living room.
