CLARY POV

The blonde lifts up her right hand and shows me the ring. The ring had 'i love you' engraved in it with the three Herondale birds. "See" She says. "Oh, am i in the wrong room?" She asks. My heart squeezes as i push the ring hard onto my finger roughly. My eyes blur with tears as i bite my lip hard.
"No, y-you're in the right room" I whisper. I push past her. I run down the hall and bang the button of the elevator. I walk inside the elevator. There was no one else there. I drop to the floor. I hug myself tightly. Trying to hold myself up and together. I start panting hard. It hurts, Why do i always end up hurt, hurt even worse than the last time. The elevator doors open. I walk out of the elevator door. I stumble out of the hotel. I keep stumbiling. My head felt like it weighed 100 tons. I was dizzy my throat was killing me my nose was getting clogged by tears being kept in. My eyes burning. I had goosebumps on my arms and legs. My stomach felt contracted. My lungs felt clogged as if i couldn't breathe, and my chest, my chest gurt the most. contracting painfully tight. I keep stumbilling until I finally collapse on a wall. I turn and stumble into an alley way. I drop to the floor. I feel like screaming So i do. I yell and finally tears pour out.

My hand balls up into a fists. "Fucking asshole" I say. I claw at my chest. I keep crying. It hurts so much.

It was late. I don't know how late because i didn't bring my phone, but it's late. I don't want to go to the apartment to hear Jax banging some chick. But i sure as hell don't want to go back to the hotel. I finally sit up. It still hurts. I grab the engagement ring. I see the dimond heart. The golden ring had the black Herondale birds. I bite my lip.

"Clarissa Morgenstern" He says as he takes out the small velvet ring box. "Will you do me the biggest honor.....Of marrying me?" He asks.

We were both lying in his bed, I had confessed to how afraid I was he would cheat on me like Sebastian had. Instead of freaking out and telling me how I wasn't trusting him enough. He grabbed my hand and kissed it. Then he put it above his chest. Then he said.
"I, Jace Herondale, With your hand on my heart, I swear that I will always be loyal to you" he tells me. I smile at him and kiss him happily.
