Real Life

"Hey babe, what do you want to eat?" Neels asked, I rolled my eyes.

"Is that a real question?" I giggle, scooting myself over so I was practically laying on top of him.

"You're right, why would I even ask. Lets go get you some veggie grill." He chuckles, pulling up from my bed.

"Yass, I'm so happy now, let me change really quick." I turn to grab a clean hoodie, and a pair of vans.

"Ready little one?" He says leaning down to kiss my forehead. I scrunch my face and give him a playful glare.

"I'm not little, you're just unrealistically tall." I giggle, sticking my tongue out at him.

"Hush baby." He says pulling me out the door, to his car so I could get my love of my life, food.

When we get to the place, we order our food and decide to eat outside.

"Okay so how long until you leave me for New York?" I ask pouting, from across the table.

"We've got a couple more days baby and trust me if I could stay with you and not go back, you know I would." He says reaching across the table to hold my hand. I smile at the gesture and give his hand a squeeze.

"I know, I just hate the thought of you being away from me. You've only been here a week, I need more time."

"I know baby so do I, maybe you could come stay with me for a while? I know you have a break coming up, maybe you could come out to New York, take a break from the L.A. life." He says smiling at me with bright smile.

"Here's y'alls food, enjoy and let me know if you guys need anything else." The waitress sets down our food.

"Thank you." We both say, smiling at the waitress. I turn back to Neels to answer his question, when I hear someone call my name.

"Melissa!" I turn around to see Ethan jogging up to me, "I should have known your ass would be here." He chuckles, I notice Diego walking up behind him.

"Well you know me so well Ethan," I roll my eyes, "Ethan, Diego, this is Neels, Neels this Ethan and Diego."

"Hey man, nice to meet you." Ethan says, sticking his hand out to Neels.

"Nice to meet you too Ethan," Neels says before facing Diego, "And you're the dude commenting on Melissa and I's pics, right?"

"Yeah that's me." Diego says giving Neels a mischievous smile.

"Well Mel, you coming over later? I'm having some people over tonight." Ethan asks trying to distract the other boys.

"Uh yeah, maybe, we'll see." I give him a small smile.

"What do you mean 'we'll' see? Got to ask your boyfriend for permission or something?" Diego says smirking.

"No, I don't Diego," I roll my eyes, "But I do like knowing his opinion on what he wants to do since he's staying with me and he's leaving in a few days, and I need to make the most of it." I reach for Neels hand, and he gives mine a squeeze.

"Babe, I'm down to go if you want. You know its whatever you want." He smiles at me.

"Okay well then, we'll be there," I turn to smile at Ethan and Diego.

"Cool see you then Mel." Ethan says giving me a quick hug and waving to Neels.

"See ya" Diego says barely giving Neels or me a look.
