Real Life
I looked up from my phone, tired of reading the comments, especially the ones from Tana and her followers. I'm standing with Jessica, Kelsey, Ethan, and some other friends of Diego behind the DJ set up. I smile watching Diego, he looks so happy, bouncing around the stage, his smile is so big, it makes my heart flutter. I hear a commotion from the upper VIP balcony area, I look up and see bleached blonde hair bobbing up and down. I take a deep breathe, knowing that it must be the Tana girl. I nudge Jess gently.
"Jess," I whisper
"Yeah?" She leans over to me, "what's up?"
"Up there, in the VIP area, is that Tana?" She looks up briefly, as we bop our heads to Diego's music.
"Holy fuck it is. That hoe has no boundaries. She probably had to buy her own tickets, Diego doesn't put her on the list anymore." She chuckles.
"She's still blowing up his phone though." I roll my eyes
"Do I since a hint of jealousy?" Jess quickly turns to me, wide eyed with a huge grin on her face. I open my mouth to say something but am at a loss, I basically stand there looking like a fish out of water. "Oh my god! You're jealous! Diego is going to be so happy you like him!!"
"Wait, I never said anything about liking him." I stutter out.
"Bitch you do!" Kelsey says from the other side of me.
"I second that-or third that? I'm not sure." Ethan says, dancing around us.
"Look I don't know! I have a boyfriend." I whisper yell. "Look we're here to see Diego, pay attention to his jumping bean ass." I laugh.
"I never noticed, he really is a jumping bean out there." Jess looks at Diego, tilting her head as he jumps all around the stage. He looks back to where we are standing, smiling over. He jumps over, literally jumping, like the bean he is, towards us. He comes up to me, grabbing my hand pulling me to the front of the stage. My eyes widen, I hear our friends start hollering, as Diego makes me jump and dance with him as he performs. He comes up behind me, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me against him. He kisses my cheek before letting me go back to our friends. I laugh, blush covering my entire face. I stand with the girls and Ethan again, watching as Diego closed out the show. I felt immense happiness for the sweet boy and couldn't help how my heart fluttered at his smile. Although I felt so much happiness and excitement I felt a pair of eyes, glaring at me, I didn't want to look around, so I focused on the boy stealing my heart.
