"Diego, I can't even express how proud I am of you, you looked so happy out there, doing your thing." I say leaning my head on his shoulder, we were sitting with a group people at some house party we were invited to after his show. Diego took a hit from his blunt, passing it to me. "Thanks baby, it means the world to me that you were here, and that you enjoyed it." I felt his arm wrap around me as he squished me closer to him.
"Yo, Diego, blonde barbie is here!" Ethan yells over me to Diego, pointing to the door where Tana just came from. I felt my body stiffen, I had a bad feeling about Tana. I tried to pull away from Diego's embrace, worried about the girl's reaction.
"Ugh, I hate that bitch." I hear Jess groan, taking a hit from the blunt, followed by gulping down her half of her drink.
"Same." Diego laughs, Jess, and I both rolled our eyes.
"Oh yeah, that's why you stuck your dick in her?" I say, giving him a harsh glare.
"You don't got to like the girl attached to the pussy to fuck the pussy." He responds causally, shrugging his shoulder. I make a noise in disgust and pull away from him. "Don't be like that baby." He whines, trying to pull me back to him. I shrug him off, annoyed at his fuckboyness.
"I'm not being like anything, Diego." I say, pulling out my phone, checking my messages. I had a few from Neels, asking me to call him. I sigh figuring I should just call him and get it over. "I'll be right back guys, I need to make a call." I stand walking away from a group. I glance back at them and see Jess smacking Diego and see her mouth 'idiot'. And pressed call, it rang a few times before I heard the click, and his husky voice.
"Melissa?" I hear the sleepiness in his voice.
"Hi Neels, I'm sorry did I wake you? I just saw your texts?"
"No, it's fine, we need to talk."
"Yeah, I agree Neels." I mumble unsure of how to continue with the conversation.
"I booked a flight to LA in two days, I know things have been bad. But I want us to be able to talk about our issues and how to fix them, face to face."
"Two days? I-uh-okay. You're right, we should talk in person. I miss you Neels, maybe we should have space until Thursday, just send me all of your flight information."
"I miss you too Melissa but look its like 3 am over here. I've got to go, and I agree let's talk when I see you."
"Goodnight Neels." I sigh
"Night Melissa, sweet dreams." I hang up the phone, standing outside of the door, not sure if I want to go back into the party. I decide to prolong my re-entrance, by scrolling through Instagram. I see a lot of tags in a certain picture, I click on it to see a picture Tana posted of her and Diego.
