Cassidys POV
I woke up to an alarm I had set the night before.
I got up, had a shower and got dressed into black jeans and a simple t-shirt with folded up sleeves. Then my phone went off, probably Crystal.
I hated how she called me 'bitch'. It was so... aggressive. And it didn't exactly help my self esteem.
I walked down stairs with my bags packed and greeted my parents.
My little brother was playing MineCraft in the games room and my parents were eating breakfast at the bench.
"Hey honey, I'm sorry to hear about that Colby kids prank, I might just have a little chat with his parents!" My dad explained looking up at me from his toast.
"Oh Dave! Stop it! He probably just has a crush on her!" My Mom says lightly slapping my Dads shoulder.
"Well the kid has a strange way of showing it" he replies back.
"It's fine Dad, I'm just glad I don't have to look at that asshole anymore" I say sitting down at the bench with them.
My dad says nothing, he just gives me a sorrowful smile.
When I said I was moving to LA with Crystal, my mom loved the idea but my dad didn't. He wanted me to stay close, but eventually my mom convinced him it's what I wanted to do. Besides, I was 17 turning 18 soon. I was old enough to make my own mistakes.
After breakfast was finished, I grabbed my suitcase. It was time to leave and my parents were a mess. My mom had tears in her eyes and my dad was fighting them back... only just.
My little brother Josh came running up to me and gave me a hug. "I'm gonna miss you Cassidy!" He says tightly hugging my waist.
I wish I could say goodbye to my older sister Rosey.
She was 19 years old, two years older than me. She had moved to New York a couple of months ago.
I guess that's why my parents were a blubbering mess because they had just lost a daughter to another city, and now they were about to loose another.
"I'm gonna miss you too Joshy, I love you"
"I love you too!" He said letting go.
"Bye mom, bye dad!" I say hugging them tightly as well.
I finish my goodbyes and head out the door. I get in my car and begin my 20 minute drive to the airport. Most kids would be happy to be leaving, because they were finally free from their parents, but I'm happy because I was finally free from satans son... Colby.
