I made sure all my things were packed neatly in my suitcase and went to the front office to return the keys.
A couple of seconds after I got in my car, my phone went off
It's was Colby. He was trying to apologise for Wednesday.
I ignored it.
I couldn't bare to respond to him right now. In a couple of hours, I was gonna be at home with my sister and family. And maybe, just maybe... everything would be alright again.

"CASS!!" Rosey screamed as she ran up to me and gave me the worlds biggest welcome home hug.
"Hey Rose" I weakly smile. I still felt crap about all the drama happening at the moment
"Come on, let's go surprise Mom and Dad" she smiles and grabs my hand

We pulled into the familiar driveway and hopped out.
"You ready?"
"Yeah"
We walked up and knocked on the door softly.
A couple seconds later, Mom opened the door.
It took her a few seconds to process what was happening, then...
"GIRLS!" She screamed and gave us a huge hug.
"Dave! Come here! Rosey and Cass are here!"
"Rosey and Cass?!?" Josh said running out and diving into our arms.
"Oh girls! How are you?" Dad said smiling
"We're good!"
We walk inside and sit down at the bench. My mom begins talking as she puts the jug on for some coffee
"So girls, why did you decide to come home from the big cities?" Mom says still Concentrating on Coffee
"Well, I came home because my Uni Semester is over, so I thought it would be good to come home and see you guys" she pauses and her smile fades "and um, Cass is here for other reasons" she says looking down
My parents smile fade as well and they both turn around in unison to eye ball me
"Josh, would you like to play some video games in the games room?" Mom says sternly
"O-ok" he says confused as he wonders off.
After josh leaves, the room fills with silence
"Cass, you're not self harming again are you baby?" Mom asks quietly
About two years ago, the stress got the best of me, and I started hurting myself. Josh didn't know, but the rest of my family did. It got so serious, I ended up in hospital.
I told everyone at school that I was in a car accident, but Colby told everyone I was pregnant and the abortion went bad. Everyone bullied me for it, but I never told anyone the real reason.
"N-no, I'm not" I say quietly, but I knew myself I had considered it heavily
"Baby, show me your wrists" Mom says trying not to cry.
I stick out my arms and roll up my sleeves to reveal only old scars. I heard both my parents sigh in relief
"What's happening baby? Why are you so upset"
"I-I'm f-fine" I stutter my lies
"No you're not Cass! And if you don't tell Mom and Dad, I will!" Rosey says sternly looking into my eyes
"My boyfriend cheated on me, Colby is living with me and is constantly digging at me, Crystal apparently hates me!" I say bursting into tears.
"Oh Cass..." Dad says walking over and hugging me.
"Honey, everything is gonna be fine. But please, don't hurt yourself over it. You can stay here for as long as you want" My Mom smiles
"Ok" I get up and walk upstairs to my room so I can clean myself up.
While I was washing my face I heard my phone go off.

Crystal was fully freaking out. I never told her I was going back to Kansas, and I don't plan to now either.
I lay on my bed and thought about some things I needed to sort out.
