We had finished packing and were putting our bags in the car.
Sam offered to drive the first hour, then Colby, then Crystal. No one was making the birthday girl drive... hell yeah!!
Crystal sat in the passenger and Colby and I sat in the back.
As we waited for Crystal to get out of the bathroom, Sam, Colby and I sat in the car.
"What's wrong Cass? You look bored already" Sam says giggling at me
"Nah, I'm not bored. I'm just preparing myself for all the dick jokes this journey is about to give" I say and we all laugh.
Finally Crystal got in the car, and we were off.
Our adventure... had began.

I sat in the backseat, listening to music. Counting Star by OneRepublic came on and I hummed along quietly.
Everyone else was talking. But I didn't want to invest in conversation right now. I kinda just wanted to sit back, listen to music and look at the amazing view.

Colby's POV
I had just finished my driving shift. I pulled the car over and me and Crystal swapped places.
I scooted into the backseat next to Cass. She was asleep.
I grab out my phone and text Brennen. He had got there this morning, along with Corey, Nik, Elton, Devyn and Aaron to set up the party before we got there.

I laugh to myself and put my phone down. I look at Cass again. She's listening to music.
Because I'm nosy and curious, I leant over and took one of her ear buds out to see what she's listening to.
She's listening to Teenagers by My Chemical Romance. I love that song.
At least she has good taste in music. I smile and put it back in her ear.
I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees that bracelet.

Cassidys POV
"We're here" I hear Colby say quietly as I felt him shake me.
"Huh? Oh, I must of fallen asleep" I giggle tiredly.
"Yeah" he smiles at me and helps me out of the car.
The house is huge. It looks so silent and peaceful.
We begin walking up to it and I hear Sam and Crystal giggle behind me. I turn around and look at them.
"What's funny?" I smile
"Oh um. This!" Crystal says quickly pulling up a meme on her phone.
We all laugh and Sam and Crystal continue to look nervous.
As we get closer to the house, I see how amazing it really is. I open the door and walk in. It's completely pitch black.
"Ah, where's the ligh-"
"SURPRISE!" Several people jump out and scream.
"OH MY GOD! DID YOU GUYS DI THIS?!" I turn around and smile at Colby and the others.
The smile and nod.
"THANK YOU!"
"Anything for you" Colby says as he wraps his arms around me.
I blush madly, but try to play it off.
I walk in and get greeted by everyone. Some of them I had only known from YouTube.

The party was amazing. We spent some time on the beach, partied hard, and had so much fun.
It had finally ended and the majority of people were leaving. I had met so many people tonight.
Brennen, Nik, Elton, Corey, Devyn, Aaron, Sam, Colby, Crystal and me were staying at the beach house for a week.
I head upstairs to finally go to bed.
I grabbed my bag and got my PJs and searched for my hair brush.
Ahh! Where is it?! Oh here it is... what is this?
I find a small unfamiliar box hidden in the pocket of my bag.
It has a little note attached to it. I take it off and read it.
To Cass
To make up for all those years of torture. Happy Birthday.
From Colby
I smile and put it beside me. I pick up the box again and open it.
Inside was that beautiful Dimond Bracelet. It sparked perfectly under the light. It was stunning.
I slipped it on my wrist and admired it.
I quickly stood up and ran downstairs. Colby was cleaning up some cans.
I ran to him and gave him the biggest hug I could offer.
"Thank you" I whispered
"It's ok" he smiled back at me.
"Also... HOW COULD YOU SPEND THAT MUCH MAONEY ON MY!" I sat punching his shoulder
"Ow! Ow! I'm sorry... I knew you wanted it. And I had to make high school up to you some how" he says giggling.
"WELL!?!... I love it. Thank you" I smile
I walk back upstairs and lie on my bed. For once... in a really long time... I was truely happy. I can honestly say, I forgot what that felt like.
And it felt good.
