Cassidys POV
I had been sitting at Roseys side for hours. My back hurt and I was tired.
I looked up at Rosey and she smiled at me weakly.
"Go..." her smile continues
"What?" I say frowning
"Go... go have fun for a couple of hours... I need rest anyway... I'll be fine here" she says and I stand up.
"I'm NOT going anywhere!" I say enforcing my opinion
"Please... you and Colby have been practically living here the past couple of days... go out and enjoy New York... then... you can come and join me again when it's dinner time"
"Bu-"
"No buts! Do it for me..." she says kindly, but I can tell she means business.
I give her a fake smile and look behind me at Colby who is asleep in the seat.
I smile and walk up to him. But just before I wake him up, Rosey stops me...
"Cass!... treat him well... he will treat you well back... I know that's all you want" she smiles and I return it. But this time, it's genuine.
I place my hand gently on Colby's shoulder and shake him lightly.
He wakes up and looks at me, and I see Rosey lie back down.
"Come on... let's go see New York" I smile and he gets up.
I lead the way out as Colby orders an uber.
"Where do you want to go?" Colby questions while he looks around curiously for the uber
"Hmmm... what about... we just walk around the city till we find something?" I smile and he nods, just as the car pulls up.

We walked around the city for ages. The sky had been shining most of the day, but now... an overcast was forming above us, and it wasn't long before it started raining.
Business men all around us sighed and ran for shelter in nearby cafes and offices.
Me and Colby just walked under the verandas and talked.
A couple of minutes of walking, we eventually hit an open gap. It was a couple of metres of clearance. And it was raining a lot heavier now.
"Ready?" I ask as I prepare to run
"Yeah" he replies
"Go!"
We start running for cover again but before I could, I felt a hand grab my arm.
I panic at first but then I turn around to see it's just Colby.
"What are you doing?!? I'm getting soaked!" I announce
"I-I just wanted to tell you something" he says looking into my eyes
I wait for him to speak, but it never comes.
With every second, he draws closer to me. It's not long before I can literally feel his breath on me.
Then, he pressed his lips into mine. My eyes widen and I try to pull away. But my body doesn't want to.
I stay there, kissing him, in the rain, just like I've always wanted to. But it was so wrong.
Colby loved Crystal.
Not me
I can't let this continue.
I manage to take control of my body again and I put my hands on his chest and push him away.
He just looks at me in disbelief.
"Y-you love Crystal! Not me! You can't do this! Not to me! Not now!" I yell in the rain.
He looks at me sadly and his eyes turn from ocean blue, to almost complete black.
"I-I'm sorry... but I can't do this Colby... not to Crystal" I say loudly, but the look on his face makes me doubt whether he could hear me.
He looked empty.
"Ok..." is all he says before he walks off. His hands in his pocket, his hoodie over his head and his head down.
I just stand and watch him walk away as he disappears into the distance.
I call an uber and head back to the hospital.
I get out and thank the driver. I pull my phone out of my pocket to check the time. 5:36pm.
I head to Roseys room and walk in quietly.
Luckily, she isn't asleep.
She's watching TV.
"Rosey... I-I... something really bad happened..."
