Colby's POV
Cassidys parents, Rosey, Sam, Crystal and I all crowd around Cass as we all watch her breathing move up and down.
No one utters a word. Just silence
I was so nervous about how everything would play out today.
Cassidys parents had come a week before to decide whether to keep her on life support or switch her off.
And I was nervous as fuck they would make the wrong decision.
Cause if they did, I couldn't do anything about it.
And I would loose the person I loved.
A friend
Family.
Two doctors walk in. Their faces pale and nervous. They have sorrow written all over them.
"Mr and Mrs Mathews... I'm afraid it's time to make your decision" one of the doctors say
"Yes... we have decided..." Cassidys mother pauses as she considers her decision wisely "to keep her on life support"
I sigh in relief and sit down in the chair beside me.
"Are you sure ma'am... the chance of her waking up is slim, and the hospital bill will be horrible" the doctor reply's
"We're sure. After all, she's a girl worth fighting for"
