Cassidys POV
The last couple of days, hanging out with Colby was nice.
There was no bickering, fighting, snarky comments. Maybe we were becoming friends. Maybe our petty rivalry had finally been put behind us.
I lay in bed awake.
Those girls were apparently getting better in hospital, so I'm glad about that.
I rolled over and grabbed my phone.
Ugh! It's only 10:12pm
Me and Colby both went to bed early tonight, I guess that was a mistake.
I stared at the ceiling, and like the previous nights, it just continued to stare back at me.
Then, I heard the door creak open.
I jolted up panicked about who it was.
"Take it easy, it's just me" Colby says throwing his hands in the air in peace.
"You gave me a heart attack" I say lying back down
"I gave YOU a heart attack?!? I thought you were asleep, when you sat up like that you scared the shit out of me" he giggled.
"Oh sorry" I giggle too.
"I was thinking... since we both can't sleep... we could... go out for a night on the town" he says looking at me, searching for a response
"Like... now?"
"Yeah"
"Alright, and there no catch?" I question
"Nope, now get dressed!" He says before walking out of my room.
