Cassidys POV

I had been let out of the hospital and had been staying with my parents for a lot longer than expected.

Today I was flying back to Los Angeles. I hadn't seen Crystal, Sam or Colby in three months.

Ever since they walked out of that hospital room, they were only in my memories.

The cuts on my arm had healed well and were even hard to see.

I packed my bag and walked downstairs.

My Mom looked at me and smiled, but I could tell she was sad. I knew she was worried about my mental state. But I was alright now.

"Hey baby" she said walking up to me and giving me a small kiss on my forehead.

"Please. Please don't hurt yourself again while you're in LA" she said holding my hands in hers.

I knew she blamed herself for it, even though it wasn't her fault.

My brother, and my Dad walked up and wrapped their arms around me tightly.

Josh still didn't know what happened.

Mom and Dad said I was in an accident. But he knew something else was up.

The plane rocked side to side as its wheels touch Los Angeles's soil again.

I was nervous to be home again.

What would happen when I walk back into that apartment? What would everyone say? Would they accept me in their friendship again?

So many thoughts of nervousness ran through my mind.

I stepped off the plane and walked along the runway back into LA's airport.

I pulled out my phone while going through customs and ordered an uber.

I walked out of the airport and found the uber by the door waiting.

"Hey, are you Cassidy?" The woman asks me through the window

"Yeah, that's me" I say getting in

I gave her the address and we began driving.

As we pulled up to the familiar apartment building, my heart raced. I was trying to think of excuses so I didn't have to get out, but it didn't work

"Is everything alright ma'am? Is this not the right address?" The driver asked

"N-no, its the right one. I'm just... taking the view in, sorry" I say before getting out of the car and walking to the elevator.

I walked up to our front door and paused. I stared at it heavily and trying reaching for it, but I froze.

Eventually I talked myself into it and I twisted the handle.

I walked inside and stared blankly at everyone sitting in the kitchen as they return my confused stares

"Cass?" Crystal says as a huge grin grows on her face

"Am I still welcome here?" I nervously laugh

"Of course!" She shouts as she gets up and gives me a strong hug

"I missed you so much!" She says squeezing tighter.

Suddenly, everything didn't seem so bad. I felt... safe. As soon as I realised they didn't hate me, I could finally breathe again.

I hugged Crystal back. A couple of seconds passed and she let go.

"Hey Cassidy" Sam smiled as he came up for a hug.
