Suggested song for this Chapter: FireFlies by Owl City

Waking up alone is harder than you would think. Not just alone in the room, but alone in the house. Crystal, Colby and Sam were on the road for a trip that I was supposed to go on, but something came up... I guess.

Oh shit! I forgot to text Crystal last night that I had got home alright. Knowing her, she's probably yelling and freaking out, if not on her way back here now to find me. I grabbed my phone and texted her.

Well that's good to know Crystal isn't mad

Well that's good to know Crystal isn't mad. I walk into the kitchen and begin making myself a bowl of cereal.

You know what? No ones here... I'm gonna blast some music. I turn the stereo on and up. I miss dancing around my house with Crystal blasting the loudest music. But I guess it will be fine dancing by myself.

The song that comes on is Me, Myself and I. This song is lit! I tap my toe while I sit on the couch. "Woooo! It's just me myself and I, solo ride until I die, cause I, got me for life!" I sing as loud as my lungs will possibly allow.

I couldn't wait to see Crystal tonight. And I'm also kinda of excited to see Sam too. He seems really nice, a generally friendly person.

Colby on the other hand, he can stay there.

I'm not gonna lie, when I was in highschool, before we became enemies, I actually had a crush on him.

When he started talking to me, I guess I was excited because it seemed like we were almost becoming friends.

Then that stupid bitch Abby and her Stupid Bitchy friends had to ruin it all! Ahhhhh! I hate her as much as I hate him!

It was now 11:46 pm. Crystal would be home any minute. Along with Sam and the spawn of satan. My music was still blasting. It was playing one of my favourite song, Midnight City By M83.

Along with listening to loud music, I was also watching The Walking Dead, and boiiiiiiiii it was getting good.

Don't worry! No spoilers ahead!

Anyways, there's nothing like listening to loud music, watching your fav TV show, and eating the biggest bag of chips you could find.

"Knock knock! We're home Cass!" Crystal says unlocking the door and running over to give me a hug.

She wraps her arms around me tightly and squeezes. "I can't... breathe!" I manage to get out, "whoops sorry" she says letting me go and giggling.

"We got a movie to watch!" Sam says walking in with Colby

I see Crystal smirk at me.

"What movie?" I say curiously

Sam gives me the DVD case. It's Kingsman, The Golden Circle.

I wanted to see that movie ever since me and Crystal stumbled along the first one on Netflix.

"Fuck yeah Sam!!! Thank you!!!" I say hugging him tightly. For some reason Colby just glares at us both.

It was almost like... he was jealous??

I ignored it, maybe it was Colby just being Colby.

"Haha no problem, Crystal said you really wanted to see it, so we decided to get it to cheer you up" he says happy that I agree with their smart movie choices.

I quickly run over to the PlayStation and pop the DVD in. "Jeez, who buys DVDs anymore guys? We have Netflix" I state while setting it up.

"Yeah but we checked Netflix, they don't have it yet" Crystal replies.

We giggle all together, and for once, it isn't total hell. We all sit on the couch huddled up due to the small space. I'm in between Sam and Colby, which Was particularly awkward.

It's about half way through the movie before I feel something fall on my shoulder.

I look to my left and see Colby, fast asleep, head on my shoulder. I giggle to myself and tap Sam on the arm. "What's up?" He whispers

"Look" I say pointing at a fast asleep Colby

"Awww!" He giggled with me

This was nice. Colby wasn't being a douche, me, Sam and Crystal are laughing together, and I'm watching a fine ass movie.

This was a good day.

When the movie finishes, Colby wakes up a bit confused.

"W-why am I cuddling you?" He questions.

During the movie I guess he had moved around without me noticing too much. Almost Colby's entire body is wrapped around me and he was hugging my arms tightly with his head buried into my shoulder.

It was kinda cute.

"I have no idea. You feel asleep on me then started hugging me" I say staring into his eyes, as he returned the look.

He quickly pulls away, stands up, and brushes himself off like the cool guy his is... again sarcasm.

"I'm gonna go to bed" he says trying to act all tough.

"That sounds like a good idea" Sam says yawning loudly.

We all part ways, except me and Colby and head to our rooms. Colby collapses on my bed and fell asleep almost instantly. Me... I lay down and thought.

I kind of felt weird around Colby. Yeah, it was the burning hate that I felt, but it was also something else.

Maybe if I try to be nice to him, he might decide to be nice back.

Or maybe I'm just delusional.

Yeah, I was delusional.

Thinking me and Colby could ever be friends, ha! We were enemies, that was it.

After all... enemies are forever
