Cassidys POV

The sun was beginning to rise. I could feel the trickle of sunlight gently kiss my skin.

I still sat and watched out the hospital window. It was strange watching all the people in the street go from, drunk idiots to busy business men.

Small children with their moms pushed through crowds, trying to get to school on time.

Men dressed in sharp black suits, carrying briefcases walked while constantly checking the time on their watches.

Foreign tourists stopped and took photos of everything, which was pissing off some of the locals trying to get past.

This city life looked hard and depressing. All these people looked sad. Like their purpose in life had left a long time ago.

I heard Rosey toss and turn from behind me and I turned to see her pop up and look at me.

"Morning" she says while yawning

"Morning" I quietly repeat.

"Ugh, what's the time?" She says looking around for a clock

"7:46am"

"Yay! 14 minutes till breakfast" she giggles and Colby jolts up from her loudness

We giggle and he looks at us confused. But eventually, he laughs a little too.

"Cass, I was thinking... I'm getting better... so... I think you guys should go back home today" she says looking at me sadly

"What?!? Why?!?"

"Look Cass... I feel horrible about you and Colby sitting in here bored all day. I'm getting better and will even be let out soon. So I think you should stay for breakfast, then go back home"

"Ok. Are you sure you'll be fine here?"

"Yes hon. I'll be fine" she smiles as two ladies walk in with breakfast.

"Here you go Rosey. Also, we know you've been spending a lot of time In here you two, so we got you a little breakfast too" she smiles while giving us two trays with a couple of things on it.

"Thank you so much" My and Colby both say smiling

"No problem dal" she says and walks out

I looked down at the tray. It was a decent feed. It had pancakes, an apple, orange juice and some toast. With butter of course.

I smile and begin eating. I was so hungry.

The past week, me and Colby had eaten barely anything. And the stuff we did eat was McDonalds. So this real food, looked like heaven to me.

"Promise me you will be alright" I say staring heavily at Rosey

"I promise" she nods her head

We walk out of her room and get an uber. I try my hardest not to cry.

We get in the uber and I sit quietly in the backseat. It's almost like I don't exist.

We get to the airport and sit in the terminal for about 10 minutes before they let us through.

I had been on the plane for about an hour. I had the window seat. Beside me was Colby, snoring fast asleep.

I feel really shit about leaving Rosey. I wanted to stay with her until she is better.

But it probably is for the best. Besides, I need to upload some videos. I haven't in a while.

I go through my carry on bag, trying to find my Vlog camera. But something else catches my eye instead.

An envelope. I do remember packing this.

I carefully unfold it and read the contents on the inside.

Dear Cassidy

I'm sorry I made you go back to Los Angeles, but I didn't want you to become too dependent on me for support. You need to be with your friends. I know things are hard, but you can't run away from your problems in Los Angeles.

If something happens, don't hurt yourself. You are a strong, funny, beautiful girl with so much love to give, it would be a shame to see it be thrown away. I love you sis. Rosey

Her hand writing was a little messy because of her hand injuries, but I could still read it.

I felt both sides of my face grow into a smile.

I really am loved...
