A couple of days had passed since Colby and Sams fight. And for the first two of those days, the house was tense and awkward.
But luckily by now they had settled their differences.
I sat in my room and edited a couple of videos I had to upload tomorrow. Then my phone buzzed and I picked it up to read the messages

I smiled thinking about him. I put my phone down and grabbed my car keys. Before walking out the door I checked in the mirror and let my long hair down from the ponytail it was in.

"Hey Jack!" I said kissing his check
"Yeah... hey" he bluntly said. He looked disturbed
"Oh my god! What happened to your face?" I say gesturing to the bruise near his eye. It was dark purple.
"Oh I uh... my brother is a bit rough I guess" he gives a fake giggle then returns to his previous dead inside expression
"So... what did you want to ask me?"
"You love me right?"
"Of corse"
"I might be out of town a bit so don't bother going to my house"
"Oh ok, you don't need me to house sit or anything?"
"No!" He shouts desperately "I uh... my friend is"
"Ok?"
"I got to go, see you when I get back" he says giving a fake smile and walking out of the cafe
I was a bit confused about what just happened. He was acting weird and suspicious, but I'm sure he's fine

I was home now
I was sitting on the couch watching Sons Of Anarchy, and it was getting GOOD!
"Watcha watching dork?" Colby says as he plonks down next to me
"A show, so don't interrupt!" I say still focused on the screen
"Aight"
Me and Colby say on the couch together for about three hours binge was Sons Of Anarchy. And the whole time Colby didn't mutter an insulting comment of anything. Maybe, just maybe we were being nice to each other?
