Cassidys POV
I sit up in my bed and rub my eyes.
I hear Brennen talking to someone. It sounds like Colby.
I sneak to my door and press myself up against it, attempting to eavesdrop.
"Crystal was stressing all night" Colby says
"Yeah? Well it sounds like she deserves it! She has been a real bitch lately!" Brennen retorts
"Maybe, but she's worried about Cass"
"So what?... are you gonna force her home!? Kidnap her?!? Tie her up?!? What if she doesn't want to go home now?"
"N-no! But it's worth asking her!"
"Yeah? Sure! Fine! But she came to me... pretty much a complete stranger last night, in tears. Telling me about everything that's been happening, and honestly... I wouldn't blame her if she said no!"
"Can I just talk to her Brennen?" Colby says calmly
"No! You can at least wait until she's out of bed"
"Ok"
I hear them both sit down and the TV go on.
I got my jeans and a sweater and put them on.
I walk out my room and both the boys look up at me shocked that I was up.
"M-morning" I say giving a fake smile
"Good morning" Brennen and Colby both reply
"Um, Cassidy... can I talk to you?" Colby questions
"Uh, sure" I say nervously
"Come on, I will take you out for breakfast to talk"
Brennen glares at Colby and mouths the words "look after her!"
Colby grabs his hoodie and walks to his car with me. We get in and he starts driving.
"So what did you wanna say?" I say breaking the silence
"Look, I'm sorry about the whole thing. Crystal is stressing out about you, she's really worried. She didn't mean all those things"
"I know she didn't. I just feel, really hated by everyone at the moment"
"Well your not"
"Yeah... sure"
A couple minutes of silence later, we pulled into the apartment garage.
"What the fuck, Colby! You said we weren't going here!"
"Yeah I know, but... you need to make up with Crystal" he says parking the car and turning it off.
"Please! Don't make me go up the-"
"Cassidy, please do it! For me" he begs
"Fine!" I say rolling my eyes and getting out.

We walk up to the door and I pause. I reach for the handle and my heart races.
"Go on" Colby says trying to reassure me.
I turn the handle and walk in. Crystal and Sam both get up from the seats and look at me shocked.
"Oh my god..." Crystal says running up and hugging me "I was so worried. What happened?!"
"I-I... everything got to me the other night, and I almost drove off the bridge, then I called you and you told me to stop ruining your night... I just... feel really hated at the moment" I cry out in a rush.
She didn't say anything... she just hugged me tightly.
"I'm so sorry... you're not a headache" she whispers.
