The party didn't finish till after eleven but it gave Sarah an opportunity to get back home and fall asleep without her step family knowing she was gone. She was successful.

But her luck ran out the next morning. She awoke early to the sounds of her sisters, screaming her name at the top of their lungs. Immediately, she responded to them. She ran into the kitchen and saw what was happening.

Breakfast had already been served (Sarah saw the evidence - toast crumbs and dirty plates) and bags. Bonnie, Annabelle and Mary-bell were carrying sports bags; four of them.

"Lazy girl", Cassandra said. "Just pure lazy".

"Mum, she should be punished!" Bonnie cried.

"Well, darling", Cassandra replied, "Annabelle has already thought that". Cassandra turned to Sarah. "I want you to accompany the girls to the pool. They deserve a swim after yesterday.

"Do make sure you keep an eye on them. You are good at being a lookout".

Sarah didn't say a word. She could feel her stomach rumbling but she knew she wasn't going to have a chance to eat".

"Come on, Girls", Bonnie cried. "Lets go swimming".

Bonnie, Annabelle, Mary-Bell and Sarah arrived at the leisure centre, surrounded by lots of swimmers. In the changing rooms, the girls were on the lookout for a room. It didn't take them long to find four of them - all in a straight line.

Sarah waddled behind them. All she could think about was her stomach. It's useless to complain. Might as well eat later - if there is a later.

Suddenly, Annabelle pulled Sarah's arm, dragging her to Bonnie and Mary-Bell.

"We'll meet at the poolside after getting dressed. Here's a quarter each". She gave them one coin for the lockers. "Don't lose these, otherwise you'll be in trouble"; she was referring to Sarah who was already in a lot of trouble.

"Oh, Sarah", Mary-Bell said, "we packed something for you. Hope it'll be okay".

"Thank you", Sarah replied quietly.

"Let's go, ladies".

The girls went into their dressing rooms and carefully locked them to avoid embarrassment.

Sarah sat on the bench, feeling sad and miserable. She didn't want to come but she had no choice. Inhaling a breath, Sarah opened the bag to find a swimming that was her size. But it was a one shoulder one-piece swimsuit. Sarah looked at it sadly. This wasn't she expected it to be.

"Better than nothing", she said to herself.

When she had put her bag and clothes in her locker, Sarah made her way to the pool. She walked very slowly, in order to avoid lots of unwanted attention.

But she did gain it though, through her step sisters. All three of them were laughing when they saw Sarah in her swimsuit. They were all wearing bikini's. Very beautiful bikini's. Sarah was devastated; she felt like crying but she had to fight her tears.
