"It's time to present your Tudor knowledge, class. Hopefully, you won't have to be thrown in the Tower of London for not completing your work. Or leaving it all at home".
Ms Space and Mrs Simmons were leading the History class, in preparation for the Sixth Grade presentation of their History projects.
"We forgot it was today!" Helga whispered to Arnold. "We thought we had to complete the project by Friday!"
"Not to worry", Arnold answered. "I managed to collect Sarah's notes from her cardboard boxes. Everything is all here".
"Cardboard boxes?"
Arnold then released that Helga didn't know about Sarah moving into the Boarding House. "I'll tell you later".
Although Mr Simmons was absent when the class were given the task, he was very excited to see what they came up with. He sat on his desk with a massive grin on his face while Ms Space was completing the register.
In between the preparations, Gerald, Lila and Eugenie where talking to Arnold.
"Man, it's a shame for Sarah to miss this", Gerald said.
"Come on, Gerald", Arnold replied. "Sarah needed to rest after yesterday. At least she can have some rest".
"I'm oh so certain that Sarah will do very well with your project, Arnold. You must have complete faith in her".
"Yeah, yeah, Princess", Helga interrupted. "It's done and dusted".
"I still cannot believe you guys were chosen to study Shakespeare", said Eugenie. "Now I really wish Sarah was my partner".
"Maybe you'll get lucky next time, Eugenie", Gerald replied. "After all, there's plenty go around". Gerald winked at Eugenie after looked around the classroom.
"Gosh, what would Sarah say when she finds out about today?" Lila asked the group.
"Who knows?" replied Arnold.
After Ms Space completed the register, she announced the presentation. "Now, I'm not a beef-eater or a monarch, but I am a teacher who is excited to see your projects. In conclusion to your tasks, you will receive your grades based on your hard work and team work. I trust that there were no arguments or complications during the period?"
The class was silent.
"Excellent". She then turned to Mr Simmons. "Mr Simmons, allow me to introduce your class' presentation on the Tudors in 16th and 17th Century England".
Mr Simmons clapped with enthusiasm, much to the embarrassment of his students.
Then, it started.
First, it was Rhonda, Phoebe and Gerald who delivered their presentation on Tudor Fashion. Eugenie, Harold and Lila discussed on Tudor politics. Afterwards, Sid, Stinky and Nadine showed (and fought) about the greatest battles during the Tudor period. Finally, it was Arnold and Helga's turn.
"Unfortunately, Sarah couldn't come in today", Ms Space told the class, as Arnold and Helga made their way to the front, "but Arnold managed to bring her notes. As well as their own. Arnold and Helga, what did you find on William Shakespeare?"
"William Shakespeare was one of England's famous playwrights and poets.
"Writing over thirty-seven plays and 154 sonnets, Shakespeare had changed the world of theatre to what we know today".
"But", added Helga, "some evidence shows that Shakespeare may have written more than thirty-seven plays. He may have written forty, which may be lost or revised. While other piece of evidence suggests that some of his sonnets maybe be addressed to mysterious characters. 126 addressing to a man and 28 for a woman.
