When Sarah came too, she found herself in a strange bed in a strange room. It was all white; stiff, dark shadow white. There were blue curtains, draped above the ceiling (well, at least what's Sarah thought. In reality, there was a steel rail) and metal railings all over the bed.
Sarah didn't panic, but she could feel a massive pain inside her head. She reacted to pain by letting out a small groan, which caught attention from a person who was sitting on a chair next to the bed.
"We were wondering when you would be awake". It was Phil.
"Hello", Sarah said weakly.
Phil stood up from the chair and walked toward the bed, gently taking Sarah's hand. "How are you feeling?"
"I feel like death".
"Grandpa?" Sarah then heard Arnold's voice, echoing around the room as he opened the door.
"Over hear, Short Man", Phil replied. "Just in time too".
Sarah smiled as she saw Arnold and Gerald walking towards the bed. Arnold stood in front of Phil, who allowed his grandson to say hello. Gerald, however, walked to the opposite side of the bed.
"How are you're feeling, girl?" he asked.
"Confused", replied Sarah. "Where am I?"
"In the hospital", Arnold replied.
"How did I get here?"
"Well, you can thank Arnold for that one", said Gerald; he was winking at Arnold, giving the hint to Sarah.
Arnold blushed. "I was with Gerald when I saw Wolfgang throwing you off the diving board.
"We were at the shallow end and were around to race to the deep. That's when I heard you scream. I knew something was wrong but I didn't know you couldn't swim.
"When you were drowning, I raced to the pool underneath diving board and told Gerald to inform a lifeguard. I dived in and with one of the lifeguards, we pulled you in and you were losing consciousness.
"You passed out after coughing a lot of water".
Sarah groaned lightly as her vision reacted to the bright lights. "Sorry", she said. "I just need to shut my eyes. I have no intention to sleep".
"I don't blame you", Gerald replied. "Damn, these lights are bright".
When her eyes were closed, Sarah asked Arnold and Gerald another question: "You know Wolfgang?"
"He used to be a student at PS", Gerald explained. "He used to keep on people a lot.
"I guess some people never change".
"We also noticed there were three girls with him", Arnold explained to Phil.
Sarah sighed sadly. She knew the game was up and she couldn't keep it a secret anymore.
"Who where them girls with Wolfgang anyway?" Gerald asked.
"Bonnie, Annabelle and Mary-Belle. Their my stepsisters", replied Sarah.
The trio were surprised.
"I know siblings joke and play around, but not like that", said Gerald.
"Don't worry", Sarah reassured her friends, "I'm used to it". She was lying but Sarah wanted to reassure her friends that she was capable of looking after herself. However, she could tell by Arnold and Gerald's facial expressions that they weren't buying it. And by it, Sarah meant "hiding the truth". How long can I keep this up?
