Thirty Nine

Jhoana went back to her normal routine without Bea or before Bea came in to her life.

It is hard, sobra siyang naninibago para siyang buhay pero hindi nabubuhay.

"I still don't get it kung bakit kailangan ni Sir Palou na pagsamahin tayo sa isang group." Miguel said and then looked at Jho.

"No offense, Jho."

Tumango lang si Jho.

Miguel has been harsh to him since she came back in the agency. Para kasi kay Miguel, ano pang point na pinabalik si Jho.

Tyler, on the other hand, ay laging hindi kumikibo. That's more bothering for Jho. Mas gusto pa niyang sigawan o murahin siya nito. In that way, she can feel his pain, his anger.

Napailing na lang si Jho sa epekto ng mga ginawa niya.

"Team!" Mr. Palou entered their conference room. Together with him, is Deanna and Jia.

"Here is your two new members."

"Sir?!" Miguel reacted while Tyler just shook his head.

"Yes, Miguel?"

"I think it's inappropriate to welcome those who betrayed our agency and more inappropriate to make them join a team where those directly involved and we can say hurt are their teammates." Miguel said.

Nakatingin lang siya ng diretso kay Mr. Palou samantalang si Jia ay nakatungo lang.

"I think it's more inappropriate to not give a chance to those who deserve it, Miguel." Mr. Palou answered.

Natahimik naman si Miguel.

"Well, what a welcome." Tumingin siya kina Jia at Deanna. "Hope you can work with them well."

"So, here's your first mission as a team. Take over the leadership muna, Jho." May ibinigay siyang folder samin and then, he left the team.

"Unbelievable." Miguel cursed.

"So?" Tyler, for the first time, say.

"U-uhm." Deanna didn't know how to act.

Si Jia naman ay tumingin lang kay Jho, naghihintay ng sasabihin nito.

If Jho's in other position, natawa na sana siya sa awkward atmosphere pero hindi niya ito magawa dahil siya mismo ay hindi alam kung paano mawawala ito.

The team talked casually for their mission. Nang matapos ito, umalis kaagad si Miguel and Tyler which made Jia to let out a sigh.

"Sundan mo." Jho said.

Jia looked at her. "Mainit pa ulo eh."

"Kaya mo nga kakausapin para lumamig." Jho rolled her eyes.

"Kilala ko si Miguel, mahirap siyang kausapin pag ganyan ang mood niya." Jia said.

"Sa tingin mo kailan magbabago ang mood niya?"

Napabuntong hininga nanaman ulit si Jia.

"Tayo ang bumabawi, Jia. Wala tayong rason para magreklamo."

"Sige. Kakausapin ko na siya bukas."

"Jia?! Ngayon na." Jho persuaded.

"Wait lang, iipon muna ako ng lakas ng loob."

"Sa dinami ng pinagdaanan mo sa court at sa mga mission, ngayon ka pa nawalan ng lakas ng loob?!" Jho reacted violently.

"Aba porket yung iyo nasa ibang bansa ah. Pag yun bumalik, ewan ko lang kung paano mo siya haharapin." Jia countered.
